Listening to this. And learning the solo on guitar. Skip to 2:26 to see what I would argue is the Comfortably Numb solo of the metal scene.

Wicked solo!

Hell yeah, Tough to learn on a fender strat though. Times like this I wish I had my Ibanez back. The slim neck was so good for playing shredding and technical riffs.

Edit: The thing with this solo is that it flows so perfectly with the song. The buildup makes me wanna throw down.

Listening to and watching this. Plenty of gunshots to the head and other parts of the body, little or no trepidation at all.

Man what a good series.

What happens to the value if they decide to print some more of those? Or would the original pressing still hold that much value? I can't see someone paying $800 when they can buy a new pressing of the same thing for $20 but than audiophiles aren't exactly known for being logical

FYI, this pressing is long out of print and anything collectible these days with a large audience has a chance to escalate in value. There are many forms of collectibles these days and many people invest in these items when interest rates are low.

For those who are into the EDM scene.

Interesting....I only recently got into vinyl but I'm definitely not getting into it as an investment......I just enjoy putting on a record every now and than and I used to purchase a lot of CD's but it seems pointless now since I can download FLAC files which are exactly the same quality. With Vinyl I feel like I'm buying something I can't download (Analog copy, big artwork, etc.).

I don't consider it an investment at all either. I just love the idea of putting on a vinyl once in a while.

In a high end system digital does not even come close.

Just played Yes Tales of Topographical Oceans song" ritual" which is all of side 4. It was jaw dropping

The new Kendrick Lamar album is nuts!

Other two albums are D'angelo - Black Messiah, and Mayer Hawthorne - Tuxedo

Some good music right now!

Just wanted bring to your attention this epic set from Eric Prydz: https://soundcloud.com/eric-prydz/eric-prydz-essential-mix-2013

This would be my fave house set if I had to choose one.

That's been on my daily playlist since the day it was released!

On the Eric Prydz note - the build up and that orgasm voice (skip to 3:35)... don't even need to be on drugs lol

A long time ago I let my music website expire, but I still have a ton of mixes floating about.
Not sure how many deep house heads are on here or into old school jungle and dnb, but I have hundreds of hours online to stream or download for free... PM or ask if you are interested in a style and I'll link up the titles to the genres if I have it.

Something like:

Classic House: http://shanekingsley.com/mp3/RunawayHouse.mp3
