We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Looking good!

That should be fun to shoot fast. Ive never tried a pistol with a red dot.

How does the slide feel compared to stock? Any real difference there?

It's lighter so with the stock slide I was using the blue spring, now I find it's shooting smoother with the red spring. It's the trigger that really makes you want to shoot fast though.

And my dot is actually green, I read that it's easier to see green for most people so I went with green over amber for the colour.

PS we should have a GTAM range day then you could try it out for yourself

I dont have a range membership anywhere but yeah Im down :)

Either Silverdale or book another range for a private function. Might make financial sense if there's enough of us.

GTAM members with guns? Together, in a large group?
Have you not learned anything from the threads we have here? :lmao:

Big calibers up front, rimfire back of the pack?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot?

Can we book the 'private' combat range at silverdale? That'd be pretty cool...

Mention of the "action" range reminded me of a funny story at silverdale.
Years ago when i first started shooting and i was new to the range i finally got one of the range officers to sign off on me using the action range. I went with my buddy and we notice that there were targets like the pic below in the pit. I looked around and thought "sweet, something to shoot at", since no one was around. It was a sweet target with all sorts of shapes and what not, i must have put at least 5 mags into all the targets when i noticed a nice fella standing next to me. Once i finished he tells me those were his targets and he just went to the car to get something :lmao:

He made those targets to withstand his .22, me not knowing went at it with my 9mm and put holes in all his targets essentially destroying them. I offered to pay the guy but he wouldn't take a penny from me, telling me he'll just make some more.
The whole time my buddy is laughing his *** off at me, and i felt like a complete ****** bag lol

And what kind of target are you able to shoot at that range? Paper? Is there anywhere we can shoot steel targets?

Ya paper, there is a pit at the "action" range, that as far as i know you can put some of those target thingys i posted above. Can't tell you for sure, i spend very little time at the handgun range, most of it i do longer distances staring through a scope

There used to be a steel plate at the longest range as well, not sure if its still there or not after the shakeup that silverdale went through recently

Stupid laws.. I had to go to Caledonia today, but because I was planning on shooting a restricted, I had to drive past my range, go home, get my guns and go back to Burlington.. 90km of needless driving lol Anyway, took a cousin out for some constructive shooting. Here's a vid of me and my 10/22 (I wear the gloves because I shoot my AR a lot, the handguard gets hot, so I wear gloves with everything to keep things consistent).
