We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

I can lend you an ultrasonic to try. If you like it, you could look into pricing. L

Hey Lyndsay. I just saw some Chinese heated ultrasonic baths on Amazon for about a hundred. Reading up it seems the wet tumbler plus stainless pins looks to be the best method though. I might take you up on that to see.

I have a small one that's heated, and a large one that's ambient. Next time you're in the building, come and have a look. L

I looked at the cost of a cheap tumbler that came without media and a separator and wasn’t rubber lined and noisy then saw SFRC had a sale on and had one that came with everything that worked out to just less than everything combined and had way better reviews. Bit the bullet..pardon the pun.

Most recent statement on the gun ban New firearms measures to combat crime and increase public safety

"Replica Firearms" are also apparently on the radar for the ban. Good to know that illegal gun violence is coming to an end now that the gov't is going after kids who shoot cans in their backyard.
Bring in a seacan of replica firearms and make JT buy them back at fair market value. Since you have the canadian supply, you get to set the fair market value in Canada.

If you also read into the new banned list, big guns like bofors and field guns are also included. really, when was the last time a field gun was used in a driveby. If the gov wants them banned, it wont be a few hundred to compensate owners, will be 10s of thousands each and they arnt currently registered lol

Maybe JT is worried they will target his office. I highly doubt there is much that could be done against a domestic artillery strike (for a few volleys anyway).

If you read between the lines....

Many of the "big guns" and other things on the list are on a US style right-wing militia shopping list. We have changed our terrorism laws/approach and these groups operating in Canada can now be considered terrorist, Proud Boys, etc. This is about more than just street crime, robbery, etc.

Pretty sure RCMP, CSIS, etc. had input on the list... maybe some preemptive enforcement, less work later, etc.

Didn't read the whole thread, but incase it hasn't been said. It's very easy for them to keep adding, getting something removed from the list is much much more difficult.

Anywho, any buyback program wouldn't have me scared. You think the government can afford this? Pft.

It's about property owners losing their property rights . Today it's legal tomorrow it's not . For no satisfactory reason . Many of these guns have been in Canada for decades . The owners use them responsibly . Just because you don't shoot does not mean others shouldn't . Gun owners are probably the most law abiding people in Canada . Taking their guns and saying it's to make us safer is a big lie .

Can you point out where these proud boys and right-wing militia are in Canada ?

The registry was supposed to be 10 million . It ended up being over 5 billion . Your money is no issue to the Liberal government . What's an extra few billion here and there on top of last years 483 billion .

You were good until the last paragraph. People with similar beliefs and ideas are here and to argue otherwise just makes it look like you are trying to be obtuse. I think this is a bad law based on bad politics and the worst kind of wanker electioneering (so pretty much perfect fit for JT).

I didn't bring up these groups backmarkerducati did . I'm making the point they are distraction .

Or they may be the reasons the US Gov requested their inclusions and JT was happy to oblige. If US is trying to crack down, trying to eliminate the supply north of the border is an easy step for them without trampling on their own citizens. A pretty useless measure imo, but politically simple for them. JT being a city wanker is happy if anything that makes a loud noise is banned so he would be happy to oblige.

You are just speculating now . Who is being obtuse now .

It's exhausting... The lies and utter bull crap coming outta that drunkin Billy Blair's festering cake-hole,
Arrogant prick.

He was on my terrible useless human list long before JT. He just follows wherever the wind blows and he can personally benefit and flip-flops on position with absolutely no moral compass.
