Yes, unfortunately he's still around. The number of different ways that he can link aliens to specific places and events, that are actually mutually exclusive, is amazing to behold.

I haven't read it, but have heard of it. I think I need to read it.

You'd have to know Matt. Any word he uses like dork, nerd, geek, he applies equally to himself. After all, his bread and butter is writing Dungeons and Dragons themed comedy and he's written for video games in the past. He's a good guy.

Sacred Sites S2 on the Smithsonian channel looks amazing. I recently really enjoyed E2 on the Mayans (I've been to a number of mayan ruins in MX). The latest knowledge being gained on this epic historical society is incredible.

Anyone watching Punisher S2? I get the sense it is not as good as the first season. Will check it out soon.

Has its moments. Some good things, some... Mediocre things. Overall decent. 1st season better.


Surprisingly good show is DC Titans. Very good production value, very Watchmen like in its style. Watch the first 10 mins of episode 1 and decide if you want to keep watching. (if you enjoy more comic book stuff).

Yeah Punisher S2 just doesn't feel like S1 quality. Storyline seems lacking ... so far.

I watched Titans last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't forget to watch the after credits scene at the end of last episode. Fantastic show and really looking forward to S2.

"Nightflyers" - GRR Martin's idea of a space opera. It's not badly done, overall, but the themes aren't really new to anyone who's steeped in SciFi. Of course they also throw in the odd bit of nudity, or you wouldn't know it was tied to GRRM. Three episodes in as I post this.

Hmm tried to watch it, couldn't get past the first few minutes ... just doesn't grab attention.

Origin (2018) was a far better space SciFi show, IMO.
 
Watching Titans.... very meh, and somewhat cheesy. Not holding my interest much. Lots of Toronto eye candy if you noticed. (Green P, esplanade st, and some of my neighbourhood, west hill, Teds diner, and one of the hotel's)

Gets better with every episode. The finale makes enduring through the rest of episodes worth it, IMO.
 
Have been rewatching the "I.T Crowd" on Netflix.
Very funny british show.

And if you like I.T Crowd, check out Toast of London on Netflix too.

Also been watching Season 3 of the Grand Tour. ...it's still good, just feels a little too scripted than usual.
 
I just started streaming Maniac on Netflix, I wonder why series is not that popular.
And my buddy failed to finish an episode as she fell asleep on the heated pet beds of her pups.
