TV shows currently watching

Fubar has some good moments.

Started watching Jury Duty and still getting into it after the first couple episodes (2nd episode was better though).

Finishing up Blackbird on Apple TV soon. Pretty good.

And just started White Lotus. Weird/funny so far but only one episode in.

Also, what does everyone think of Succession? I enjoyed the first couple of seasons.. but then it got a bit boring/repetitive for me recently. Will still try to finish it as I only have a few episodes left. Definitely some good moments, but anything I see online is always BEST SHOW EVER OF ALL TIME etc. Which makes me wanna say it's overrated. Am I crazy?

overrated.

I was entertained, I think the acting was good but the script got old.

Just finished latest set of Silo on AppleTV - very Orwell's 1984 look and feel...quite engaged ...just finishing the books...the series has a very long way to go. 🍿

I believe Etobicoke’s very own Graham Yost had something to do with that. I really like his stuff.

Finished up The 4400 - The last 2 season were a bit better, show found it's grove. Still cheese.

Now getting into Manifest S4

From chessy to over acting.

I started to lose interest in "Manifest" when they started slipping in religion, to make it palatable to the American Mid-West, but stuck with it to the conclusion.

Just binged S6 of Black Mirror.

Started off well with "Joan is Awful", but every other episode seemed to have little-to-no connection to the technological dystopian themes of previous Black Mirror seasons. It's almost like Brooker is running out of ideas, or more likely, the dystopia is already here today...

Regardless, some good episodes though, even if they have nothing to do with Black Mirror. I liked "Demon 79".

"Mazey Day" would have been a good Twilight Zone episode if they hadn't thrown in the superfluous paparazzi angle. "Loch Henry" was a bit rambley, also didn't like that they had to shoehorn in an American character so US Netflix viewers would have a "fish out of water" viewpoint to relate to. I preferred Black Mirror when it was an all UK series. "Beyond the Sea" - um, why send humans to space and keep their robot counterpart on Earth? Wouldn't it be safer and more efficient the other way round?

I really enjoyed them all, but the music in "Demon '79" really drew me in. It also reminded me that I really need to see "V/H/S/99" if only for the segment that features Tybee Diskin ("Fallout: Nuka Break") and Kelly Missal ("The Crossing").

Just finished The One, interesting premise, it was well done. I thought is was very good, wife thought it was just okay.
