discovery was weird...picard might be ok....I was watching the lower decks which was great, lots of inside jokes etc, need to pick it back up again

Started Picard season 2 today…
Wow… It’s really really good.
I’ve never been a fan of the antagonist character, but it looks like this show will be amazing.

Well…for anyone that has fantasized about punching Chris Rock , the Oscars were pretty entertaining. I just wish Ricky Gervais was the host as Schumer et al were dreadful.

Don't generally like stand up comedy and that just reinforced it, but Coda's wins and Belfast made up for it.

Both stunning movies ....Belfast harkening back to Best Years of Our Lives - superb cinematography and acting.

Anyone seen the new halo show? I've never played the game but do like sci-fi, and am enjoying the show more then I thought. The storyline and acting is much better then I'd expect from a video game port.

Started watching 'Moon Knight' on Disney+ yesterday....good first episode.

I've become accustomed to the binge watching and now am shocked when I want to go to the next episode...and it's not out!

Yeah I am all about binge watching now. I don't watch anything unless it's the whole season. I have enough content in the backlog to wait it out. Plus if I am desperate and need filler there is always ST Discovery..

On episode 2 right now.
Its better than I expected....hope they allow for a sexy type 4 Cortana though...wouldnt mind some eye candy lol.

It was definitely good and had me also wanting to immediately hit the second episode. One very interesting narrative choice is to start off things using one of his "alters" instead of the main personality. It gives us a way to be introduced to the character and his powers, while still giving us a fully fleshed-out superhero. No "origin" stage; they hit the ground running.

I didn’t know it was Marvel Universe. I usually switch these off as I’m “superheroed “ out but this was surprisingly good. Very decent lead actor and some good comedy too.

I think that is Marvel's magic sauce...good comedy. DC doesn't seem to get it.

Agreed. I’m really itching to go dig out my old comic stash and re-read the original series.

Oscar Isaac is excellent in the role.
Except Mark Spector sounds like Poe Dameron.
