Toronto Raptors '15/'16 season

The Raps are easily the most frustrating team to watch. Missing tons of free throws, DD playing constant hero ball, that last second play in regulation...like who makes up that play!?

It shouldn't have been this close.

Yea, at the end of every game is always the same ****ing play, Kyle gives it to DD and he plays hero and misses. Drives me nuts, it's like the 2 of them forget who is hot in the game... or maybe the coach is calling those plays... who knows

Drives me nuts, especially Derozan. Settles for jumpers every single damn time! Raps always relegate to winding down the clock with no play in mind....yeah, that'll work.

To me it seems that even though Casey is great at coaching and motivating the team, he's not a good strategist. There's no methodology or plays to their attacks. This is unsustainable if they want to go any farther than the 2nd round.

Completely agree! The Raps look like they setup plays initially then if/when it breaks down, it comes to last second improvisation. Granted, yes, plays breakdown in the NBA but it looks like it happens to the Raps more often than not! How many times have we seen DD dribble dribble dribble, then chuck up some stupid jumper? If not DD, then it's someone else. If you watch a really good ball team with a really good system (ie Spurs, Warriors), there's a fluidity to their team game. The Raps have none of that. Watching them doesn't scream Title Winner to me. Not even Eastern Conference winner. If we somehow survive this round, we'll get eaten alive if we keep playing this improv iso ball crap.

from a 14 point lead to allowing Miami to surpass you ate one point
JV has a 80%+ at free throw line yet last night he could have taken about 4 easy shots from the line or just inside
The same for another Raps player ran into the paint, could have shot, but no, ran back out, pass, pass,....stolen
JV needs to take more shots.

We did kick the Cavaliers *** nicely the last time, the Raptors have the skill to win the conference but not the way they are playing. WIn the championship against the Spurs/GOlden state... not a chance.

Like I said earlier, if they played a Little better they will win this series against the Heat, last night they played a little bit better so we won.

The heat is not a good team in this Series, Indiana was so much more difficult to beat with Paul George, that guy was on "play Off Mode"

Remember we missed 12 free throws - if we made the regular 70% of those we would have ended the game easily in regulation.

Amazing how fast this game is changing with JV in the lineup.
And WTF is Derozan doing? Lowry is hot and he is not. Pass it up man.

Yeah I'm not sure why DD kept forcing up shots. Glad to see Kyle back to his usual self. Excellent road win. Hope JV is back for the next game so we can rap this up at home in game 5.

I missed te game, but it looks like KL has got part of his scoring game back?

I saw that their big man is out, but then I saw JV was out later as well. Neither team can win without them, unless both are out in my opinion. JV has had a good series so far.

oh ****...

The Raptors announced Sunday centre Jonas Valanciunas will miss the remainder of the series vs. Miami with a sprained right ankle.

Well time for Bizzy B to step up and maybe this means more time in for the Karate Kid. Raps held their own while JV was out for the 20 odd games earlier and there is still a good amount of depth - just have to play small and push the tempo.

??? Did you miss the last two games?

Ok, Lowry has somewhat broken out of his shell...you think Derozan has stepped up?? And what I meant by that is they have to up their game even more now that our MVP for the series is gone!

Just realize that Raptors have won 3 out of their last 4 games - Somehow they are managing.

But if they win this series (and they will) both of them need to go north of 55 consistently for every game to even have a chance.
