You have to take into account that JV had something to do with the 3 out of their 4 wins. He's been massive!

Anyway, I don't like our chances against Cleveland. If we play with our current lapses, it'll be a quick series.

Their guy is also out, they don't have anyone strong to go against Byombo so I think we came out ahead on this injuries.

Yea if we play the way we are playing right now or in this series it will be a fast series, I just hope that LJ get's tired before then lol.

Just being realistic. If you've been watching the rest of the playoffs, there is quite a difference from the top teams to ours. I'm a huge Raps fan, but they are a frustrating team to watch. Again i'll re-iterate, if we play with the lapses we play with we are not going to go far against Cleveland.
 
Where's the Raptors team that was playing in the regular season? those are the guys we need to show up.
 
Derozan is garbage. His close out D is horrendous! He's just all over the place.

And seriously...Casey has the most questionable tactics! Decided to inbounds from the Heat side instead of half court? Biyombo not playing in OT when we needed to protect the rim? ugh

Casey is pretty good, he made two mistakes last night, 1 to not have byombo out on the court, going small was a mistake. 2 Not having Ross involved on the plays, he was the only hot shooter last night, he did not get the ball in the last 2 min of overtime once.

@Shane It would be fun to see the Raps play Cleveland...likes crushing grapes :)
Miami needs CB, he is the other half of the team.
 
I was wondering how long would it take you to come around here to **** on the Raptors after a bad game :)

Yeah, Ross was playing pretty good and I was surprised they didn't run more plays for his 3ball - he had a good rhythm to his shot last night. I think I read somewhere that Casey said afterward that in hindsight he should have played Bizzy B in the overtime. I don't mind it when the home teams win - makes for more exciting basketball and Wade and that Miami crowd were totally pumped in the 4th quarter. Between Ross, Patterson, Carroll and Joseph, there are still good offensive plays that can be run - hope to see more of that if Lowry and Derozan aren't bringing it tomorrow night..
 
Well, it's increasingly difficult to not be negative.

I just cannot see how they will win without JV with all due respect to others on the team. Once Whiteside's knee is good to go, it will only get worse. This was a must win from the viewpoint that it will not get easier in the last two games, just worse by Whiteside surely be back either tomorrow or for game 7.

I have not seen so many missed shots in a long time. I am starting to believe that Derozan and Lowry are simply choking. The rest is not good enough to pick it up and elevate their games. Frustrating to watch ....

I'm sorry, but at this point it's hard to defend Casey's coaching. His drawn up plays are horrendous btw. He has this one play at the top of key by the three point line where it leads to Derozan isolated. Besides that, the last two games where we had the last play to win the game...either Casey just arbitrarily draws up plays out of his *** or his players aren't listening to him. Tied game in game 3 and the best play we can come up with is a 3 point chuck up shot? Then last night's game, we give an iso shot to COJO!? I feel like sometimes his plays are "Get the ball in the basket". His coaching along with the play of our two guards has left me utterly frustrated. And why isn't JAMES JOHNSON playing and guarding Joe Johnson?? FFS!

I tell it like I see it. I trash them when they win also, winning by 2 or 4 points is we got lucky.

It seems the Raps are going to get the Leafs treatment, win or lose oh well, low expectations.
CB is out for Miami, that is their other half. The Raps are barley surviving.
What would the game be like if CB was playing?

What was it? 55 wins this season? How many by the leafs?

Again, Casey has improved the record every year, but his latest 2 min plays of each game suck balls. I swear I think his his players are just not listening, mostly kyle and D

It feels like Lowry and DeRozan are trying to do so much, that it falls off the rails. Their performance is tied as well. If Lowry is doing well, so is DeRozan. If he's not..... well, you get what we've been seeing.

Either way, we have a best of 3 series to finish off, and they still have a chance! That's all you can ask for.
 
JV out? No win, sorry, I am sticking to it. He was their hottest player in this series, no question.
