Which by and large is what happened for the last 2 years. The public is largely over Covid, he can see which way the wind is blowing
Sure - why not?
We’ve got extra ICU beds now- might as well use them.

Black with orange stripes or orange with black stripes?Well, there is a pylon at the end of our street.
At some LCBOs they didnt keep the bottles of scotch in the boxes anymore, you had to ask the CSR dude to get it from the back, as theft prevention. That was a while back, don't know if they've changed the policy backI must say it was nice…but weird walking around some stores yesterday without a mask.
I’d say 50-50 in CT and LCBO yesterday. Although it was hilarious to pick up a packed Glenfiddich yesterday only to find out someone stole the bottle from within the package.
As for DOFO…mandates will return the day after election. He just wants to get voted back in first.
I thought so too….but the CSR lady told me ‘yup…those are stooen’.At some LCBOs they didnt keep the bottles of scotch in the boxes anymore, you had to ask the CSR dude to get it from the back, as theft prevention. That was a while back, don't know if they've changed the policy back
I am constantly amazed at the ability analyze waste water and be able to give insight into COVID. Amazing.Everyone was masked in our local grocery store. About 90% in the local LCBO. Our wastewater COVID results are 4x the highest they have been previously so that’s probably why.
It’s the only reliable way of monitoring things we have now since Ford stopped the widespread testing. The numbers aren’t encouraging.I am constantly amazed at the ability analyze waste water and be able to give insight into COVID. Amazing.
Oh I know. Let's see what this week brings, last I heard yesterday we had 2-3 days of uptick...time will tell I guess. It’s the only reliable way of monitoring things we have now since Ford stopped the widespread testing. The numbers aren’t encouraging.
It's like finding truth during an election campaign.I am constantly amazed at the ability analyze waste water and be able to give insight into COVID. Amazing.
Didn't know this and I'm in sauga. A moderate majority of people are still masked in grocery stores, CT, etc etc.Should prove interesting for the bike show this weekend, if they don’t vote to end it before March 31st...

I'm all for votes for Doug. DelDuca makes me want throw stuff at my TV and I've only seen him speak a few times. Something about him just rubs me the wrong way, apart from the fact he's a Liberal. Ford says government has no plans to reimpose COVID restrictions as one epidemiologist warns that 'we are on the cusp of a spring wave'
Premier Doug Ford says that he is “confident” that the healthcare system can withstand an uptick in COVID-19 transmission as the province continues to push forward with its plans to lift all remaining restrictions amid what could be the beginning of another wave of the pandemic.www.cp24.com
The problem with that approach was they'd get the numbers, then pull a multiplier out of their derriere. It’s the only reliable way of monitoring things we have now since Ford stopped the widespread testing. The numbers aren’t encouraging.
I'm going to start carrying a disposable N95 or two on me, in case I feel the need to mask up.Not gonna lie. Went to a bday party tonight.
About 40 people in a restaurant. Drank. Laughed. Partied. Danced.
Felt like a semblance of normal.
Not a mask in sight.
We forgot a mask for my son for soccer last week. I brought 2 and gave him one of mine. He wanted to switch out because he felt his was wet from the water he was drinking….thought I was going to puke wearing his after 20min of soccer….disgusting smell and feel….but he was happy so….I'm going to start carrying a disposable N95 or two on me, in case I feel the need to mask up.
The cloth ones are mainly for show anyways. If you wash them too often, they become to thin to filter. If you don't wash them you're breathing through all that crud built up on the outside, and touching it.
I normally have 4 or 5 cloth ones in my pockets, "just in case".We forgot a mask for my son for soccer last week. I brought 2 and gave him one of mine. Never again.

If its just a cold It's one hell of one!
I tested positive for C-19 on 12/28/21 then on 1/5/22 was hospitalized as my oxygen saturation dropped to 76% and had a sustained 103 to 105 degree fever. It was then found that I had double pneumonia (lungs completely full with what looked like broken glass according to the doctor) and kidney failure. I held my own until 1/11/22 I was put on a ventilator and was on that for 10 days. During that time I developed blood clots in my lungs and heart. After coming off the ventilator I was moved form ICU to CCU to a regular room over the next 5 days until I was able to keep an SP02 of at least 92% with 4L of supplemental oxygen. I got to learn how to walk again how to use my arms again as my motor function was completely off, use a bedpan and have a nurse clean you up because you cannot do it yourself...all the fun things this "cold" has to offer. Once home I was on oxygen for weeks until I could slowly ween off of it. Total time missed from work was 9 weeks. I came within a razors edge multiple times of dying during my hospitalization and am extremely lucky and thankful to be alive. The other nice thing about this "cold" is you are in total isolation for 21 days meaning no family members can come see you or really advocate for you. You get to basically go it alone while you are near dead and cannot think straight because you are so sick and hallucinating from all the meds and effects of C-19 but get to make potentially life altering decisions.
I am neither pro or anti-vax as that is the decision the individual should be able to make for themselves as to what is right for them.
Cheers,
P-14 (cold survivor)
