Like I said before those sv's are a blast to ride at tmp, light, loads of torque, and the straight is short enough the bike isn't underpowered at all.
And never mind the sound of them! They sound sweet.
my goal for tomorrow is later braking, I was breaking at marker 3 of 5 at NJMP and still think I had a bit more.
I still get that OHHHHHHH SHIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT im breaking too late feeling, so tomorrow expect a run off or two![]()
They say 3lbs weight savings = 1HP
15/3=5 HP
If take that any day
red, im going to do the morning in yellow to help a buddy, then afternoon ill be in red again. What group are you in?

If I can do 1:18's on my SV I'll be very pleased!
Blipping is good, but I don't always do it, mainly because I sometimes screw it up. When that happens I just feather out the clutch. Usually it's fully engaged before turn-in but sometimes I use the engine braking to sort of trail brake, along with the front brake. Can you adjust your lever closer to make it easier?
Yeah I know what you mean. The bend of some aftermarket levers makes it get too tight to the bar and if you're two finger braking it hits your knuckles of the two fingers still on the bar?
You could cheat and get a slipper clutch. Seems to be all the rage among the track day heroes LOL... j/k Blipping is a good skill to learn.
I have a slipper (stock) and still blip. To me the bike feels too unsettled when I don't blip.
The slipper comes in handy for when I forget I'm GP shift.
72HP on the Pro6 dyno. It's legalI've lost 15lbs since last season though, so that can't be a bad thing!
