Whoever's left...see ya tmw.

Any pics of fast group ? Blue r1 with gold rims number 47 :):):):)):)

It was great riding with the quick guys in the fast group on Sun, first time at TMP so it was huge seeing how you guys attack the corners, learned a lot! I hope the white kawi with white rims (#878 ) wasn't to much of a pylon for you guys.

Took a couple of sessions to get the flow of the track, but after that had a great weekend, good meeting a bunch of the GTA track guys.

I saw lots of cameras, anybody get pics of all groups?

Hahaha, yep, a second or two sounds about right. That's about how long I saw your bike on the straights!

And I understand your need to 'stuff' me Aliki, just getting me back for turn 1 at Calabogie last year :evil4:

Now we are even!!!!!

Was that the one that nearly highsided every other lap coming out of the last turn? A couple times he was right out of the seat.

Rough throttle application, and sudden squaring off of the corner to an un-natural line, had it running out of tire.

Nexttrackday, find a control rider and follow him/her around for a few laps.

Exactly thanks for the tips maybe u can show me around next time I come out
Now do u have any pics of me nearly crashing lol I some how bent my foot brake noticed it when I came off the track the time I nearly got thrown off the bike in turn 1. Any advice is greatly appreciated this was my 3rd time out to the track ever so I'll take all the tips I can. Anyone else please let me know what u think

Re: Blue Gsxr highsiding

I was cringing every lap.....worried that it'd get ugly at the wall. I am not surprised at all that you grounded out the brake pedal.......you were leaning yourself completely out of tire a number of times, AND hammering the throttle to boot! You got lucky.

I was riding today so I didn't take any pics....I never do...I can't even turn a camera on,LOL...That's my wife's department.

If that was only your 3rd day, you were moving along pretty good almost everyywhere else. I was watching you for some laps. I noticed after your big pucker moment outta the seat, you started waiting to gas it coming on to the straight. It helped you not to get the bike as squirrelly, but a better remedy would be more body english, wider line out towards the wall, while smoothly feeding in more throttle as you stand the bike up onto the fat part of the tire. Same results (no fall down go boom), but faster laps, better drive, bigger smiles.

If we are at a trackday together, by all means come and chitchat......and then we can play around on the track. If you get the chance, go for a track walk after a trackday. You can see things that you never would have at 100 mph. It helps alot.

Re: Blue Gsxr highsiding

Thanks for the advice it really helps when someone who's been riding for a while critiques on what i can improve and how. What bike were you on?

Re: Blue Gsxr highsiding

Silver R6 with red belly pan...yellow wheels.
Black leathers, neon yellow name on the hump. I was pitted at tech.
