tmp may18-20

my towing vehicle's brakes and suspension are toast...just finishing up my trailer too :( ....looking to hitch a ride from markham, will split gas and any other travel costs. Any day is fine with me.

I gave Tom a lift to TMP last track day there. Nice guy and appreciated the favour. Happily pays his way. Hope you get a ride out there Tom.

Thanks... Scrambling to find the parts to fix my car as I speak lol.

19th, be careful out there, or at least make sure someone has truck/trailer space back to where your from in case of a mis-hap.

I might be there on the 19th... riding to the track.

What's with GWB. Letting a control rider in green group stuff newbies in every corner. The same thing happened at the last GWB day I was at. Is that rider trying to show everyone how fast he is. At least at a uli day there is no control rider standing people up mid corner.

sounds like a good wkend so far. I got the essentials fixed, should be at TMP tomorrow given nice weather

Damn. Wife working all weekend and kids are sick. Beautiful track weekend.
Envious.

great to meet some of the other GTAM guys, that triple was looking cool going around the track

noticed that too, control riders blazing up the straight, at a hot shoe pace, at double the speed of the slower riders. Fine in red group, but not in green. I can see that a rider with such a significant speed different would upset some riders. If anything control riders should be helping slower/more timid riders or those that just need an extra hand. If anything, other riders should be passing the control riders as they wait for the slower rider they are trying to show lines to. Other than that GWB did a great job running the track day.

Was good meeting some GTAM guys...
What ended up being my last session (3rd last one of the day) really p*ssed me off.
Came into turn 1, getting to mid-lean point --- some absolute ***JACKAS**** comes in way too hot and ran way wide - right into my line. If I wouldn't have ran off track he would have hit me, as he went competely to the turtles where I would have been. Had about 1 foot of space between us when I veered.

The guy looked back, saw he ran me off track and gunned it down to turn 2.
Every time anyone ran off, they had to go to the marshal and re-tech or get tires inspected. Marshal asked me to I.D. the offender...
I did so..

And he promptly ignored the Black Flag FOR FOUR LAPS till the end of the session.
