Re: Blue Gsxr highsiding
I was cringing every lap.....worried that it'd get ugly at the wall. I am not surprised at all that you grounded out the brake pedal.......you were leaning yourself completely out of tire a number of times, AND hammering the throttle to boot! You got lucky.
I was riding today so I didn't take any pics....I never do...I can't even turn a camera on,LOL...That's my wife's department.
If that was only your 3rd day, you were moving along pretty good almost everyywhere else. I was watching you for some laps. I noticed after your big pucker moment outta the seat, you started waiting to gas it coming on to the straight. It helped you not to get the bike as squirrelly, but a better remedy would be more body english, wider line out towards the wall, while smoothly feeding in more throttle as you stand the bike up onto the fat part of the tire. Same results (no fall down go boom), but faster laps, better drive, bigger smiles.
If we are at a trackday together, by all means come and chitchat......and then we can play around on the track. If you get the chance, go for a track walk after a trackday. You can see things that you never would have at 100 mph. It helps alot.
