I'm not turning up anything from the Globe except a five year old real estate article describing a house for sale that's nearby.
I can confirm that it is NOT one of NOrth America's premier facilities.
I've only seen the rumour making the rounds.
You and I will be significantly older by the time this happens.

Zero news results, on a variety of search criteria, to support this rumour. My search should have turned up any articles in The Globe and Mail.
The rumors are indeed true.
There weren't any articles written about it, that's why you couldn't find anything.
It was listed in the classifieds section.
I found it by going to http://v1.theglobeandmail.com/classifieds/
I clicked Real Estate Sales, then simply entered 'Motorsports' into the search criteria and the print Ad comes right up.

Why are you using Firefox?
I'm asking myself the same thing, since the last two major revisions put it right into the toilet.
I've never had a complaint/problem with Chrome, although you're obviously free to try any other browser that advertise the ability to meet your needs.
TMP ownership change would mean what to a regular like me?
I'm sure they won't tear the tracks up and they'll still hold events and trackdays, right?
