TMP 2013 dates are out

Have you ever used rain tires?
It was a bit of a joke ;) lol. They are my Bridgestone S20's, heard they are pretty good in the rain

Now that's more like it... I'm starting to envy TAFB. I'd probably go out on this weather forecast, too bad bike is totally not ready, and also I am engaged with something on that day that is impossible to cancel (picking up relatives from the airport)... :|

I you like them get a shuttle bus or taxi to grab them... If you don't..... Oops I forgot.... ;-)

Hahaha, the thought has crossed my mind, hahaha.. But these are my own parents coming from europe, haven't seen them for almost a year. Would be pretty mean, lol

I can't find a weather forecast that doesn't show rain for Sunday. Although a 40% chance of less than 1mm means, in my mind, a quick shower. Which really isn't an issue.

It was 80% chance earlier this week, 60% / 5 mm yesterday, and is down to 40% / 1 mm today By Saturday it should say clear and sunny! :)

Wish I could go....but the bike is not getting run until I check the valves.

I'd like to do my first track day this year. Riders Choice has a program thing. Would you guys recommend doing it though them?

Also, Shannonville looks kind of beat up and has these drift days where all these rice rockets lay down a bunch of rubber on the track too. So I was thinking Mosport for my first time?

There's nothing wrong with Shannonville, mosport RDT would be a good track for your first time. Riders Choice hold a good event and will have a controll rider show you around the track.

Shanny is a bit beat up but it's flat. So you can see where you're going. Which is a great help for your first day. Mosport RDT, TMP or any Shannonville layout would be good. Big Mosport or Calabogie wouldn't be so great, in my opinion.

+1.

Tmp smp and the rdt are all rough surfaces. Nothing at all wrong with them but just so you know. Tmp and smp both have courses. Racer5 and FAST

I think you will have fun on any track as long as you are taught the line... I like big mosport and tmp. SMP long was really rough for me, especially if I took turn 4 wrong..

I've had friends be taught at racer 5/FAST/Turn 2 (rip) and they all recommend them.

Head over to Grand Bend and do Racer5. It's not far from Hamilton, fresh pavement 1.5yrs ago, and is tons of fun!

Signing up for Racer5 is a good way to learn how to ride on the track from the pros. Use the Racer5 cbr125 to learn all the proper skills that you can transfer to your own bike.

Email info@racer5.ca and they'll get you sorted out.

Just got a call from TMP, track day for Sunday has been canceled.

Ouch, sorry guys. Did they give you a reason? Maybe it was just you two nutjobs who registered? ;)
