I'm not sure as I haven't been to race school. They go over the basics with ya, how brakes work, lines, counter steering, throttle maintenance, suspension setup, etc. Then go over the track layout, the right and wrong lines, etc. They lead you around for a bit and watch you, then let you lead while they follow you, come in for a debrief, wash, rinse, repeat until they feel you're ready to do your own hot lap

It is not a race school in any way. It prepares you for riding track days. Procedures, safety, proper lines and techniques that kind of stuff. Its not to make you go fast but rather be safe and have fun. you may get faster but that would be a by product of seat time and confidence

lol I had a guy pass me from turn 9 to 10, almost drove into the side of him!! Not an authorized passing zone in yellow group!!

Yellow group restrictions are usuall no passing after turn in.

Green group was passing only on front and side straight, yellow added 5 to 6 and 6 to 7 straights. I confirmed with them when they moved me from green to yellow group.

Every track day I've ever been to allowed passing anywhere, in the Yellow group, as long as it was before tipping into the corner.
