Personal reply from a minion:

Thank you for your email in which you comment on several aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government’s response to it.

Please be assured that your email will be brought to Mr. Baker’s attention.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Mr. Baker has received emails from constituents commenting on all aspects and from different positions on the evolving situation related to COVID-19.

He continues to press the concerns and issues raised by constituents in his briefings with parliamentarians related to COVID-19, in various caucus meetings and in conversations with members of Cabinet. He will continue to so.

Kind regards,

So they talked some more...
blah blah blah, GFY, blah blah blah, don't call us, blah blah blah....your vote...opinion...matters to us...blah blah blah

EDIT: This is our guy... Mississauga Centre - Constituencies - Members of Parliament - House of Commons of Canada

@nobbie48 You got a good template for telling them off politely?

Might look good for otool but not for the party, I think poilievre is a strong point for the cons
Based on the article it sounds like he was not delivering the message o’toole wants to convey.

Let's all vote in the NDP and see what happens

Just give them a chance

Or o'toole was ****** that nobody knew or cared about him. He figures that by tossing the stars in a closet, he will gain prominence. He has shown me nothing good yet.

ordinarily I'd be in the camp of don't change a whole bunch while the pandemic is still rolling , but the crazy of the last week

retired guys with a hobby business claim 14K in CERB last year due to a "wording" mistake by the Feds, they meant to say if your hobby business made 5k net but let 5k gross be the line, once they write down an F150, cell phone and home office, Fred only netted $2500 from his 'hobby' business but claimed 14K in CERB.
The feds stance? well we miss spoke so keep the money

I'm not sure even the NDP could be that dippy on a consistent basis, my great grandchildrens dog will have to pay tax to cover this gong show

^^
You don't even have to pay CERB back until 2022

What the heck?

Do you even have to pay it back? I’m not smart enough to understand that, but as I read it CERB is yours to keep.

By the time he calls an election, everybody will be able to keep CERB whether eligible or not. He needs votes damnit.

Not fair :(

All the CERB abuse should be dealt with ASAP
Make it fair, just give it to everyone. One step closer to universal income.

My wife was just past the threshold for CERB. She wanted to apply and me, being an honest idiot, told her no. Now we could’ve used that money to pay for daycare for most of the year. **** I’m stupid. Lesson learned.

Based on his proposed budget, he's not far from that. No targeted spending, just sprinkle everywhere and hope for the best. Make sure everybody gets a taste. Don't worry about results or how to pay back all the money spent on useless ideas that went nowhere and had no positive benefit.

It's bs. I could have thrown the CERB into something like VERY last year and then trippled my money

Honestly, if they decide to just do UI and offer 1-2k/month to everyone I’m cool with it.

everyone gets an extra 24k/year and at tax time you tax the TOTAL earnings as they are, then I find that fair.

if there is a cut off (let’s say 50k then he can go **** himself). Universal Income should be for everyone.
