Time for a Federal Election

I don't think the country can take any more of the ruling Liberal party. Scandals, patronage, wanton spending, economy in a flat spin, and a botched COVID response.

How much can you take? I really don't think the PCs are yet ready to take the mess off his hands, but the probably should. I never though any party could be as damaging as the Ontario Liberals, I'm pretty sure the Federal Liberals proved that thought to be wrong.

What do you think? Is it time to trigger an election based on non-confidence?

Only if you want more liberal rule right now. Trump was an outlier...people don’t generally want to change governments at times of national emergencies plus the cons haven’t got a realistic alternate option.

I dont really care, but will vote libs just to hear the 3 conservatives on this forum cry
And who would that be? From what I’ve witnessed it’s the liberals that do the most pissing and moaning even when faced with facts

Prove me wrong

I think JT is an abject failure. I think an election anytime in the near future would have him back in (and likely a majority, holy frack federal finances like a comet into a black hole). The best chance for change is wait until he blows deadline after deadline, the rest of the world returns to normal and we are just sitting around a dumpster fire of 100 dollar bills with no end in site. Yes, that will have an incredible economic cost and huge death toll.

Sadly, the cost will be larger if we had an election now. Even if you managed to get a new government in (which you wouldn't), the contracts are already screwed up. You won't be able to access additional vaccines anyway. You might be able to slow the financial burn, but JT has probably been handing out millions of poison pills to ensure team Liberal is grossly overcompensated regardless of completion of work or not.

Tds Trudeau derangement syndrome in full swing

While I agree with you 100% @Mad Mike i don’t want an election right now. And I say that because JT is leading a minority with some semblance of oversight by the opposition. I’m worried if there is an election right now he will win a majority as you’re getting the election machine going as he is handing out billions in lifelines.

They will run a campaign scaring everyone the Cons will turn off the taps (rightfully so within reason) and the population will vote him in hard.

Remember, this is not a new phenomenon for us. We voted Wynn in for a second time and look what happened.

Likely it's going to be so bad with Trudeau he'll get voted off next election.

Canadians need to be smarter about who they vote for and not vote for people that dangle a candy in front of them. I think we have seen enough free candy van meme to know that it's not a good idea.

Not a bad con strategy. Run ads showing JT's campaign bus painted like a perverts ice cream/candy van.

Dude has like 8 posts in here already

I rest my case.
