This character followed me home…

Took the bike out for a shakedown ride 50km shockingly just booting around here and there. 10km on highway and the rest side streets, Mississauga Rd, Erin Mills and Mavis.

Love the sound. Absolutely love the sound. The pops and crackles when I let off the throttle are great

Brakes. Better than before the zip tie method. But still need to be bled.

Few emergency stops practiced F 40-50-60-70kph and the bike handles that well.

Suspension is SOFT. Front end dives under braking.

Rear suspension is set on lowest height so once I adjust that it could be better

Gets hot as hell at a stop. Once moving it’s all good. But lots of heat.

Can’t figure out the menu to see where the heated grips are (PO says they’re there…)

Something is rubbing very lightly. Sounds like the rear wheel but it’s very faint. That will be a pain to find.

Will need a windscreen. I’m not 100% yet I’m keeping it BUT 90% yes. Once I’m 100% I’ll look into hard luggage and how hard it’ll be to find the rack for my E21 cases.

So overall…very good.

Wonder if it's the brake pads rubbing? New bike new things to listen for.
Very possible.

Just doing some thinking on the boring commute today...will need a center stand (or front and back stands?), windshield, new brake pads (lots of life but want more bite), and should probably do my own oil and air filter change in the coming weeks, although they were done in May of this year prior to PO's start of season.

Would love this stand...but $$$$$$

I've got a Dart sitting at home for sale. It's the Classic smoked. Doesn't fit on the Full Throttle handlebars I had but does on your stock ones. Text me when you get around to deciding.

Those stands are good, but not the universal answer they appear to be. I had one for my Monster.
@cycling has one that he uses for his Diavel and @Wind Shear has one that he uses as a clothes rack. :ROFLMAO:

It's great if you want to work on the side of the bike that is exposed but not as ideal if you need to work on the stand side. The stand only works on one side.
The stand is not rigid, so if you are applying torque, things move around.

Thanks @LBV I do want to install those bars so good to know the windshields aren’t interchangeable.
Here's a thought ... reach out to Peter Dudgeon at Apex Cycle (my salesman) and see if they'll swap bars off my old bike with you for cheaper than buying a new set. Mention me if you want.

Thanks, but I have a set ready from the previous owner. Just need to install them.

Oh right ... an after-market set as I recall, not from the Full Throttle Scrambler like mine were.

Awesome!

If it's the factory heated grips, press the start button after the bike is running. Pressing it once displays what heat setting it's currently on. Pressing it successive times cycles through low/med/high.

Previous owner said they’re factory installed. Will try that tonight.

My main frustration is I can’t find the manual. The one posted earlier by @LBV is just the parts book. I’m having a hard time finding the actual manual.

Wait…I don’t think I have a start button…just a toggle that is pulled down to start the bike.

The website is lacking as it turns out the link is for a spare parts catalogue.

Pick 2020 and you'll get it.
