The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Good points.
It’s probably not Tony’s bike then. He’s particular.
The description said the person bought it a year ago and didn’t ever plate it. So he was possibly the owner before this seller who changed his mind or something. The name on the ad wasn’t Tony. I definitely would have picked this up though.

O
I know the broker doesn’t get any hurt from it. Just think they would look out for a client better.
agree 100% that they should. To this day I’m shocked my mortgage broker talked me down from higher mortgage and different financing I was planning. Even though he would have made more money.

I’m effectively his client for the rest of my life. Hard to find decent people to work with sometimes.

2006 Yamaha YZF R1 with 8500km for $3000 on Marketplace in Oshawa if anyones interested. I’m not tech savvy enough to link it but it’s an easy search.

sold in 20 minutes. Front does fold but tiny hinges seize easy Same ass rear.
Wow 20min? That was a stupid low price.

The only benefit of my trailer is that it can be put away in the yard for storage. I’d prefer not to have it in front of the house.

that’s a $1500 trailer new. I could put mine in the backyard to if the driveway was cleaner and I wasn’t so lazy

When you rebuild your fence, I would be planning on a side gate or removable panel.
I have a side gate that will allow trailer to be pushed through...but it's nice to have it in a very compact position as it doesn't take any space and can just be sitting along the fence.

I've seen similar trailers for $2500. For $1500 I'd be tempted to sell my trailer, buy a new one and be good to roll.

Couldn't you stand up that sterling trailer and then attach to fence to keep it up?

I'm not sure...not sure how that would work as the front end would be 10-12ft in the air.

Also not sure how well it would do standing on the back vertically.

I wouldn't mind just making this out of mine...

But I'd make the sides removable panels so it can still fold.

If you don't want it so tall, you could flip it on its side. Would need to do something to protect the fender (two piles of cribbing to support the box?).

I made stake sides for mine. Not solid though so they can nest when stored. I don't entirely trust the crap stake pockets so I run a strap over the top when loaded to keep the top from splaying open.

TLDeano used to post here many moons ago. I saw these bikes in person in January and they were all pretty nice!
