The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Was that babs I saw at Royal today? Around 2ish?

yes sir, it was... picked her up in Mississauga and was on the way home... thought I'd pop into Royal to see if there's anything that I just couldn't do without.. hehehe...
Didn't buy a thing though - saw a few things I would have liked, but not needed at the moment...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Hmm... Go for a ride with Dave Hatch and Clint McBain? haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Do you see how slow they take corners? No thanks :)

Yeah, for the show. Safety first! Haha...
Do you know who Clint is?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

hahaha.... we would have to make sure our bikes are all nice and shiny too. I wonder if they are going to wait around all day at The Ice House hoping for the parking lot to fill up with bikes. The last few times I was there it seemed like it wasn't as popular as it used to be.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

If we're going to be on TV, I need to spend a few evenings at Tim's on Ottawa to work on my posing skills.;)

Its funny because I drove by there last Wednesday and there were 2 guys in 1 piece suits and when I drove back by about an hour and a half later there bikes were parked in the exact same spots lol.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I think they buy so much coffee that they were offered shares in Tim Horton's. They didn't know what that meant so they opted for named parking spots to significantly increase their posing power. haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Thursday evening looks like it's going to be nice! Who's in?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Keep your fingers crossed that my relay comes in on Thursday like they said it might.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

And if it does are you in? You up for a longer than normal ride?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

If it comes in, and it actually fixes the issue with the bike (I'm 98% sure it will) then yes I'm in for Thursday. Longer than normal this time of year = riding at dusk = sun in the eyes. If we're heading east when the sun is setting then sure. haha

Forks of Credit?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Waterdown Rd/Snake Rd? More entertaining and fewer biker haters. haha..

But my vote doesn't count until Thursday night. ;)

Someone mentioned on here in another thread snake road is full of gravel right now?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Like, repaved tar and chip or just the normal gravel on roads action? There are rumours that some residents like to throw gravel on the road to try to slow down (kill) riders.

We could also hit Guelph Line, SR25 and SR15. It's a fair bit closer than either Forks or Snake.
