Nope. I used to listen to it in the factory. I remember hearing the same bunch of songs at a minimum of twice in the same 8hr shift. My wife listens to it and I feel sad about saying that.

yup. thats what i like about the edge. they went downhill the moment that policy ended. now their like a "rock/indie" Top 40.
Ongoing History of New Music was great. i use to commute and the trip was exactly as long as an episode. i have an archive of a lot of it. you can find archive at "various" websites
Edge used to be good but it went to **** after Allan cross was removed and they moved to a top 40 type of format once they started playing gnr I tuned out.

Once Dean got on I got out. I try to listen to them on drive to work sometimes but they are just idiots. As for music, it really is new rock, like just off the presses. You can hear more punk and alternative on 107 sadly. I find it easier to listen to gardening show on 99.1 and I hate gardening... shame they went to crap...

Can't stand Adjwoa either... she doesn't contribute anything funny and the husky laugh is irritating. There is no hiding that Corus revenues from its Toronto stations have been falling dramatically in recent quarters, but they need a full switch, not just a person here and there!

I used to listen to them in my teens. They just got more and more ridiculous. Sexism and rasicm abound in their programs which got really annoying. Don't get me started on a crap advice from the Dr. Drew show. Dean is an idiot. Todd is the only one with sense. I'll listen to Wha Haaappen and What's Wrong With You. I've migrated to 97.7.
None. The radio should be for music and news.
Funny? Howard Stern and/or Jason Ellis. Sirius is where the good stuff is.

Agreed, but I'd rather not pay to listen. Only because I'm not in my car for very long each day. Often my Sirius will kick in for free. Love the variety.
I don't listen to 107 when in town because I can only handle hearing patio lanterns so many times. I'm at my limit for life.
I'll have to see if I can find the ongoing history some where.
Cfny (edge) used to have a contest that if they played the same song in 24 hours you could win tickets or money.
I've been exploring more Internet radio stations via tunein radio. Can use it on my iPhone, iPad, wdtv or computer. Gf has it on her android phone. Catch stuff from England and Australia and with the time shift you can hear evening shows any time you want.
I'll have to see if I can find the ongoing history some where.

+1. Exactly. I listen to Siruis Sat radio now and have been for a number of years.
And yeah i only pay around $75 annually, and they even sent me a $25 Petro canada gas card too. lol.

At $200 buying a big data plan makes more sense to me. I can lisen to any online radio, grooveshark, podcasts, or stream my 1tb music collection from home. US and remote coverage might be an issue. Slacker radio allows you to build offline radio stations. I had sirius very long ago, but from what I recall, slacker alone beats it.
When I had a rental with sat radio I wasn't impressed
