I go Britannia>Bell School Line>Steeles to Milton instead of Britannia>Tremaine>Steeles. It cuts down the traffic circle exposure by 75%. This is a significant reduction, because Milton. That isn't to say Bell School Line is all rainbows and unicorns............

It's usually the Screaming Yellow SCUD Missiles from First Student that have a hard time grasping the whole yellow line down the middle of the road thing. Then again, the chrome flames on the hood should have sent up red flags.

Oh, the Lexus prius (ux 250h). All the entitlement of a Lexus owner combined with the lack of situational awareness and bad driving of a prius owner. Two left turn lanes, straddles the line waiting for a green. Gets advanced green and drifts into left lane. As i'm passing start drifting back into lane 2. Quick honk to let them know that their tires were completely over the line. As we go around the corner, Lexus drifts across all lanes to exit intersection in the right lane. Red light ahead. I stopped before proceeding right and Lexus went full-on road rage horning. Ass hat needs to start drivers ed again. They either don't know or actively choose to break every law they possibly can.

Likely a Ram Rancher.

Stroads: If you don't want to watch the video stroads are the result of combining streets, which are defined as people friendly low speed neighbourhood vehicle venues with lots of intersections, sidewalks, driveways with high speed passageways, roads, defined as high speed venues to get vehicles from place to place.

By trying to do both, Stroads, with one passage way you end up combining high speeds, low speeds and lots of intersections and driveways. Dundas Street west of Erin Mills could be an example. It tries to serve drivers that just want to get home, drivers entering and exiting store parking lots, making left and right turns. Lots of distracting signage. Throw in a few pedestrians that don't want to walk to a stoplight to cross, some with toddlers and baby carriages.

As useful as a dollar store multitool. Bad drivers make it worse.

Some places use a fairly simple method to at least mitigate against some of the danger. Some areas in California and Washington state reduce the number of places where vehicles would make left turns across your path by having low, continuous curbs. They have specific traffic light locations at which there is an advanced green, which can be used to make a U-Turn, so that you can double back and make a right turn where you need to go. An example of this would be Highway 99, near SeaTac Airport.

Lots of that in North Detroit too. Huge wide ROW required in that implementation but safer.

New plate, didn't waste anytime acting like a dick.
I've seen a surprising number of vehicles that are are difficult to exit with mobility passes. My theory is that the ahole persona extends so far that they are using passes improperly or fake but maybe some of them actually qualify. As for covering the zebra stripe, that's a tossup. I can't tell if they are blocking anything or if that was just too small to fit a vehicle the they blocked it off.

handicap parking spots frequently have the spot next to it painted off for larger vehicles that have ramps/etc extending outwards.

Some time back the Province performed an audit of accessibility passes for people who are 100+ years old (who automatically qualify) and while I don't remember the specific numbers involved, I think that there were something like 25% more passes issued than there were people alive who qualified, at the time. Those passes were somewhere.

By coincidence a very good (handicapped) friend had to wait for the self entitled jerk to leave before they could park.
I left a detailed Google review about it and the dick that they let in carrying his
shitzu.
edit: how do i leave a pic in the Google review?

it should give you the option (on a desktop browser) when initially submitting the review.

Total idiot. I think the striped area is a passage way. Does that mean we can walk on his car?

Idiot mind #2. He could have used a green car parking spot.

Tip: If you want to spray paint a message on his car, use aluminum paint. It used to wash off with Varsol, reducing mitigating circumstances.
