Nope. Closest I ever came was witnessing ball lightning, during a particularly severe storm. A believer in alien visitations would have called it a UFO. An occult investigator type would have called it an orb or ectoplasm.

I have to fight, to keep from yelling at the TV. Then again I read Von Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods" and spotted the flaws in his logic. When i was seven.

btw, are you having lunch with Prof.Hawkings ? he's almost as smart as you.

I was at a party once where a guy claimed in his homeland people regularly have sex with ghosts




but it was really loud in the room, maybe he said goats........

Ever read it yourself? It's not a difficult read, at all. It's primary assumption is that early cultures were too stupid and lazy to figure stuff out for themselves.

Like all "Ancient Astronaught theorist" Von's arguments boil down to I have no idea how they did this so ...aliens.

On the last Ancient aliens they were talking about sandy island that appeared on maps from the 1800s and in 2001 a Dutch survey ship found it never existed and the error was just copied for ever. But their theory ... It was probably an alien base that has since been dismantled. **** the history channel has lost its way.
