Yep, and I think that any dealer import is exempt from that process. My 2011 Chevy Volt daily driver, for example - the Volt was not sold in Canada until 2012, so my car was an import from the USA, but there's no RIV sticker anywhere on it because it was a dealer managed import.

My KLR (2006) has a MPH speedo because it came up from the states at some time. I've never seen the RIV or maple leaf stickers on it.

If your bike was originally imported into the US it will have a SOC (statement of compliance)sticker, from the US DOT, which is their RIV equivalent.
A SOC looks much like a RIV sticker, but no maple leaf. Your car probably has a SOC on the door jamb.

Where would a SOC be stuck? I don't recall many decals on this thing.

But it has 0 issues, says so right there in the ad! Also, fluid are good. Carbon fibre parts, too! C'mon, this isn't a Rolls Royce dealership...

Do not get me started on how Supreme exposes the insanity of false scarcity and the psychology attached. The fact that both Arai and Ducati participated in the scam tells me a lot bad about those brands.

Follow the money. Even breast cancer ribbons are just about money. You pay the foundation $x and you can put the ribbon on your product. Arai already made the helmet, it they can sell it for more or sell more helmets with supreme branding, minimal downside. Ducati probably gets a cut of every helmet made too. They needed to do nothing (other than maybe review the design to make sure it wasn't offensive) so no downside to them either.

Their brand, they're free to whore it as they like. But if I see an Arai with a Supreme logo, it makes me not want any Arais. Granted, they only ripped off the consumer by 40% by slapping on a Supreme logo from new ($999 USD to $1398 USD when new), it's the folks paying more after the fact on the used market that really bends my brain.
 
While we're on the topic of dodgy accessories, I'll add parts. Have had my eyes peeled for some Brembo radial brake and clutch masters, and the majority of stuff for sale is fake. Like this:

There are a few tells besides the sloppy casting, but the biggest one I can see for the RCS19's is that Brembo casts their logo into the recessed bit above where it says RCS on the main body, while the fakes have it stamped in white.

I couldn't figure out why I got a hologram authenticity card with the Brembo stuff I bought from CarpiMoto a couple years ago, but I know now...
