Too bad its the uglier 250R redesign, the 600RR looks so much better. I just took mine off insurance but won't be getting another bike for a few months. What shall I do 'til then? :(

Pretend it's winter, pull out the gt snow racer. Lol I feel your pain, if I don't get on a bike soon I'm gonna scream. But I sold mine yesterday, so the hunt begins!

I think this is one of the worst years for bike prices I can remember. People asking ten grand for ten years old liter bikes... Just wow.

Just out of curiosity, did I overpay for my bike?

2006 Ducati Monster S2R 800, was listed for $6500, I paid 6 grand.

Brand new tires on it, 16,000kms. looks and runs terrific.

My feelings won't be hurt if I did, I still love it, just wondering.

I don't believe you overpaid. But I'm not the best barometer for that as I believe I over paid for every bike I own to the tune of maybe 10%. If you absolutely have to have that model of bike and they don't come along often, pay the money.

thanks, thats exactly how I felt when I saw her.

You have to take every opinion with a grain of salt as well. There are always people on here who say, "I'd never pay more than (75% of what bikes are actually selling for)!" The thing is, those people would never find one for that price. They also don't care if they every find one, so it's irrelevant.

Things are always worth whatever people are willing to pay for them. If you wanted it and can't find any others in similar condition for a better price, that says everything.

Sounds fair to me.

The asking price of F4i's has me a bit stunned though. $4500 - 5500 for bikes with up to 50,000 kms! I paid $3800 a few years ago for an excellent condition '01 F4i with 35,000 kms and a brand new set of tires.

I saw some in the fall for as little as low 3's. The good ones all sold by beginning of December though, and now there is only overpriced stuff left.

A few more went up in the last month or two for somewhere in the 3's. They don't last very long.
