Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Cue "La La Land" by Green Velvet.

I'm going down, to, La la land
I hope to see you soon in, La la land

Something 'bout those little pills
Unreal, the thrills, they yield, until
They kill, a million braincells

welcome to the La La Land

It's not all about the money, not all about the fame
Not all about the money money..
It's not all about the money, not all about the fame
Not all about the money money..

Baby girl let me haller at you
Hop in a seat this bike's faster
But take a minute, let me explain
You need somebody who ride when time change

LOL, $8500 about a decade ago!

Emailed him and he said he would take $3,300 lol.
I understand leaving some negotiation room but asking 250% more than you want isn't going to get you much interest lol

And people wonder why there are so many lowballers on kijiji.

ROFL.

Ok well then at what point does a bike stop depreciating? If it has new tires, brakes, chain/sprockets and it's in good shape?

What do you think it's worth?

Its worth as much as someone willing to pay for it.

Someone would buy Britney's used underwear for 5 figures.... but dont ask me what its worth...

What's really funny is BMW was clearing out brand new F800S' at the bike show a few years back for $8500

I emailed him earlier too, saying something along the lines of "dude your bike is worth 8500$!!! dont let it go for $4500, ull loose money!!"

....no response :p

Ya great answer....

Agreed. Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them. Its very much an opinion, there is no absolute value.

I guess thats just it... we all have a different opinion on what we think something is worth... im used to getting really good deals so I wont overpay for something. I think any jap ss over 10 years old should not be more then 3 grand.. I know there are variables, but as a general rule of thumb.
