Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

When I see a long list of mods, i usually just turn away. Thats just my gut
Depends on what the mods are.

I bought my bike with a buttload of mods on it. However, included in that was aftermarket suspension, upgraded brakes, power commander, techspecs, etc.

If it's all cosmetic stuff I am not interested. Also, it helps if the OEM parts are included so you can swap back to stock.

Having dumped a lot of money on mods, I can definitely appreciate the effort put into other people's bikes.
However, that doesn't mean I will pay $10K for a bike that's worth $6-7k max.
IMO, I would always pay a premium for bikes that come with high end parts vs a stock bike.
Less money for me to spend down the road and whatever I don't like/need, I can part out.

Upgraded suspension, brakes, etc. are all fine with me!

It's funny how once you've been on the track your list of "would like to have" mods on bikes you're purchasing switches from HID's and junk to suspension and brakes :D

Not really. Never wanted any "junk" on my bikes.

If it doesn't make it go faster or stop faster, forget it.

Sometimes you have to add a little something that completes the look of the bike.
I added black pro-bolt engine casing bolts to my 750... the silver ones stood out way too much.

I never cared for HID's and all that jazz.

Crack heads. Crack heads everywhere.

hey guys had some guy email me said he wanted this bike I posted on kijiji for 2000
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...005-Suzuki-SV650s-3900-OBO-W0QQAdIdZ518010882
I was willing to go down to 3600.

what do you guys think.

"Bike was tipped over in parking lot" LOL. Sure it was.

One of the US motorcycling magazines did a used bike report on the SV650S.

$3600 seems high for an 05. The paper magazine actually lists the values by years.

I had a 1999 with 70K, ran great. Until I crashed it, uh, tipped over in my driveway. The EFI and ABS SVs are among the best bikes you can buy.

That is not a tip-over on the parking lot... its a lowslide on the parking lot...
But it all depends on how the engine looks, dont get me wrong the lowslide is not a biggie in this case, but its all stock, and i dont see anyone chipping out almost 4k for all stock 8 soon to be 9 year old bike ;0

Here's a random question for the kijiji crawlers. I am looking to sell my civic

2003 coupe, 220 000 km, body in good shape, rebuilt (not scrap tranny), safety and e-test.

Whats a decent asking price and what do they go for?

I listed this for a friend and I'm selling it for him too. I don't know what he did, does seem like a lowside, until he tells me to change the ad I have no control over what he wants me to write in ad. Im getting 500 bucks out of the deal.
