Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

It has a lien on the title, from a bank in Quebec. It's not the end of the world it has a lien, just difficult to make sure you have the bike in your hands at the exact time you pay off the lien. With a local bank it's easier, just drive with seller to bank, pay off lien, drive back to his house, take bike home. If the seller says "just pay me the cash, take the bike, and I'll use the money to pay off the lien" ummm no, lol.

any idea on lien amount? and who is responisble for paying off the lien?

I called the bank. Took a few tries to get someone that spoke english, when I finally got someone they wouldn't give me any information about his lien over the phone. I just asked what the currently outstanding balance was, and if his account is in good standing.

The seller wasn't sure what the remaining amount was and said he didn't feel like calling to find out.

Anyone (including yourself) can pay off the lien. If the seller "promised" to pay off the lien, you gave him the cash and took the bike, but he didn't pay off the lien (even if he made a mistake and shorted them $1) then the repo men will come take "your" new bike :(

Any money owing on a bike is now the responsibility of the person buying the bike. This is why you need to check the UVIP before buying or transferring ownership.
Technically, the bank owns that bike until it is paid off.

Run. Laziness is often an excuse used by people to avoid hearing the bad news they know is inevitably coming.

He is on this forum because he posted that video here already, Can't find it at the moment

This is an example of a guy who thinks that marketing will increase value on his bike. He's adding no value to the product.
Aside from that, while I love ZX6Rs, no way would I advertise for an energy drink company without them paying me.

I agree fully. The monster stickers all over bikes, cars, bro dozers etc don't belong. The only acceptable place for monster anything is here

I would say that his "marketing" is actually hurting his potential sale. everything from the stupid glamor shots in the ad, the burn out in the video, the helmet mohawk and monster stickers all scream "cleansing product for vaginas" . No way would I "hit him up via email or text" let alone give any serious consideration to the bike.

bugs me that Kawa puts the energy drink stickers under the clear coat.

As for this guy...may video scenes show him abusing the bike.

All I can say is, WTF...all this adds up to..carry the two...zero on resale. Why would someone buy a bike, then spend $5,500 turning it into another bike?
Just buy the bike you wanted in the first place.

"Ontario Residents ONLY - Out of Country/Province Buyers will be Ignored
Price is FIRM so don't waste our time."

oh, yes, Europeans and Japanese are scanning Ontario Kijiji for your aftermarket special...because CBR600s are so rare....and I'm pretty sure no one will waste your time.
