Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Insurance there is normal. I was quoted just over 1k a year for a busa. 5k here. My zx7 there only cost me 6 and change to insure for the year. Onterrible is exactly that.....

What's your point?

It's not just illegal though, it's dodgy to the point of he might as well not have insurance. It might satisfy a cop for a papers check, but if he ever puts a claim in I guarantee you the adjusters will become immediately suspicious. Claim denied, insurance dropped, lifetime of headaches.

That it's illegal.
Lol... So?
You mean to tell me that you never broke a law while riding?

Just curious, what happens if you're touring across provinces.
Will your claim be denied because you wrote your bike off in Newfoundland when it's registered in Ontario?

Don’t think that’s the point. The point would be that if you were say employed here or schooling in Ontario but still registered the bike else ware then its a fraud. You are covered out of province. But it will be easy for them to point to a school registration or place of employment as evidence of fraud. Its not only insurance fraud either. I believe the ministry only gives you a 30 day period to move you plates over to the province in which you reside. (Not sure the penalties here tho)

The Risk seems to outway the reward IMO

Someone said something about seeing a lot coming out of Hamilton...

If the bike is registered to his folks (would make sense to have to be like that to get insurance from there), wouldn't be an issue right?

The bike has to be registered to the location it is at the most. So if it was under his parents name who live in Alberta but he lives and rides here it would have to be insured here (under his parents)

I think the plates have to be registered were the thing is parked most most probably would still be needed to be changed. Im not sure if the cops pulled im over if they would make a big about it or not. I aint Hatin on the guy or anything tho. Just sayin
