Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

I'm with TD MM and the only reason it was $3200 was because it was on a policy with other things that helped discount the price... John duffy wanted $4200 my first season.

Now my second season's premium is still over $2000, and yes I have a full G.

If I wanted to be primary driver on a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder it would be $6500/year, and even more with a 2001 Honda Civic.

The insurance threads are laughable when I see old people who probably have 6 figure salaries complaining that they have to pay like $1700/year for an S1000RR
I started out with them at 25. I was paying $1500/yr with a clean record.

I was paying $1000 a year for a 250 when I was 20 lol
I paid $925/mo for my first bike (00 CBR 929RR, I was 19 with 36 infractions on my record).

And you had a license how........ lol

My record was a cop was going to give me 14 tickets for a riding a 50cc bike in a football field when I was 14, he decided to let me off and cut the belt so I had to push it home.

It was suspended for 6 months cause I ran outa points, but the charges stayed on for another 2.5 years :(

I don't know how your insurance is that high on cars... that boggles the mind, you would be at least 18 (or 17 - almost 18 with driver training ) if you have a full G, I think the most I paid for insurance was... $2000/yr on a dodge shadow when I was newly licensed. Something doesn't add up

location. 416 is expensive

Good god, I'd walk. That's crazy.

well if your a new driver, in a busy location, depending on vehicle... it can get silly. some people will pay more in insurance than the car is worth just to drive it.... or they just f the insurance and chance it. 416 insurance or ttc... pick your poison bleh

haha, wow, yeah just did a fake quote on TD, Kawasaki 300, 18 years old, M1, picked jane street as an address, $6,211 a year :) More than the cost of the bike
