Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

You can buy a brand new exhaust in canada for 2100+tax or his used one for 2800 firm . Good thing he has broken it in to save the new owner the hassle.
EDIT:
The colour of his looks like it good be ti which would be more money (~2800 new), but wouldn't that be something important you would list in the ad?

TDR 250 just sowed up on kijiji, it's in Trenton
$3,500 is a lot for a project bike in partial state of assembly
but these street legal 2 strokes are very rare, and one heck of a hooligan bike
may be worth a drive to Trenton to see what actually is there, pics are not good
but really only for someone that really wants one of these old smokers

Nice find. One of my all time favorites. My friend had a first year black and yellow. I only rode it a couple times but I've wanted one ever since.

This is my dream bike keeper. First year GS1000. 1978. I would seriously consider it at half the asking price. If it came with solid OEM original pipes in excellent shape I would maybe even go a bit higher... have at er folks. Oh, and he's asking $6500....I don't think he really wants to sell it.
