and IMHO, the dog is worth more than 50% of that wife
 
I know its an old bike but damn, look at the rust on those pipes!
 
They're just plain steel, rust is normal
 
Anything running and easily certifiable is $1500-$2000, but that bike is neither. Tires would be rock hard too... but you get extra old crusty tires included in that price!

Not anything. There are certain bikes that are just damn difficult to sell.
True enough. 1st gen. CBR125 wouldn't be worth $2 grand. Perhaps an early 80s cb650 and the like wouldn't be worth that either.
Older 1st generation ninja 250... borderline $1500

I find a lot of older big displacement sportbikes are hard to sell. Insurance makes that difficult. Most people that are older and can afford the insurance would rather buy new.
