Thankfully Spring is only 74 days away. Then we will get all of the "did not wave" and squid threads.

This one is entertaining, keep it going and glad it was not one of those oh-so-cool Canada Goose jackets as half the city would be suspect.

I have the coat,

bring 4 donuts, one pound of cooked bacon and 3 roast beef sandwiches to a location I will provide shortly and the coat will be returned unharmed.

The most famous way would be by the people (usually the security or busboys), who search for stuff and lost coatcheck tickets on the ground. After finding one, they just go to the coatcheck and claim their prize.

sorry man but that coat is lost. Even if you see someone wearing it you won't be able to prove it that it's your gfs. A stain doesn't mean crap...serial number sure....does it have one and did you write it down?
 
I am reminded now of that time in grade 6(?) when that bastard Curtis stole my mechanical pencil. I am sure it was him. He denied it. I haven't thought of my missing mechanical pencil in probably 30 years now. This thing with the jacket makes me remember. Is this what it was like being in the Nam?
 
Last time I had a coat stolen I was in a errrm shall we say "bar" in Amsterdam. I didn't report the loss to my missus.

OP, there's no chance one of her friends grabbed it accidentally? People do make mistakes and grab what looks like theirs if they're in a rush..:dontknow:

Some Bastage stole my shoes when I was swimming at the community pool when I was in grade school, imagine stealing stinky shoes!?! Maybe it was Curtis too, that Fargin' Ice Hole!
