thats a cool photo!

awesome garage too! post more pics! :)

Why not get a S1000rr you seem to be a fan of it. You've been bigging that up.

The S1000RR is an awesome bike no doubt the new version is even better, I had one in 2011, piped and filtered, PCV crash protection etc and did G.B on it, but for the street, like I said do you really need a liter bike any more??? I'm thinking not?? but thats just my humble opinion...Colin.

He's already got the muffler, I pointed him just to the Danmoto midpipe :) Lots of peeps run the Danmoto Y pipes on the R1 without issues, it's pretty hard to mess that up!

Did you see the new Danmoto's? To get around the problem of the carbon fiber melting they've got an Alumafiber, like carbon fiber but with aluminum silk! My friend just ordered one for his 08 R6, he's got no cats or mid muffler (MJS headers) and is getting it tuned on the dyno, we'll see if it holds up!

Bugger. Aprilia hasn't yet released the race map for 2013 bikes, which means I can't put a full Akrapovic system on it. Or a slip-on, really. The bike would run rude lean if I did.

P.S. if you have a bike with the race map in it, it will say RACE on the dash cluster. You'll need to get the map unlock from Aprilia (only available if you buy an Aprilia branded pipe) or buy an ECU with the race map in it if you want to put on an aftermarket pipe... EU regs are such that it will definitely run lean if you don't do this... and you will make lots more midrange with the unlocked map. You could b!tch about it, but what other manufacturer will even go that far... Ducati, I think?

Just got the VIN number today for my new bike arriving mid-April from Germany. I've never purchased a new bike before. I can hardly wait.....I have purchased new cars before so I have to ask: Do new bikes have a new bike smell?

Nice! It's going to be a fight getting offroad time this year, I have so much track time booked up. I'll try and get the KXF out for some quality time myself.

I've got hooks into a friend who was holding out on me that he has 300 acres of property in Verona... heh heh

maybe dude....sniff the seat and let us know

Mine isn't new, it's a year old now but it has a lot of new parts that I changed over the winter...so it will feel like a new bike to me...does that count? :)

Hoping to run the full Offroad Ontario Enduro series with it this year. First race is on Apr 21st. I can't wait.:D

Best of luck. Sounds like a kick, I used to do some enduro stuff (essentially a bracket race through the woods) and I have a friend in Texas that takes it pretty seriously...

Looks like I have a new ride for this year. Brand new 2012 Hayabusa, damn near same colour as the 06.

If someone grabs my GSX-R within the next month, I'd probably grab an S1000RR.
