Small trailers?

fenders comes off with a single pin so not too worried as I can run without the fenders.
Can you? I've never been able to figure this one out. You definitely need them when there's water on the roads. Not sure if they can be removed when it's dry. Also realize that they can be removed with the pin, but I don't remember there being much material if you wanted to mount them higher. But it should be standard square tube, so nothing a welder wouldn't solve.

This is the current setup. A 12” wheel may fit but any bumps and I’d expect rubbing. There’s some space available to lift it further, but won’t leave much on the post.

@Gary Kangaroo Trailers responded to me....$2900 for a 5x8 utility trailer with a 12-14 week delivery.

Just keep in mind trailer tires have a very low speed rating

HF says their trailers are limited to 45 mph. I think everyone has vastly exceeded that even with them at max load. They did that to limit liability.
We take the side roads to wasaga anyway. More enjoyable than the 400 and if we’re lucky the kids sleep most of the way.

Plan is to get the air pressure in, load the bike, and let it sit to confirm the tires hold air.

All I need is to get that stupid centre stand spring to hook on....30min yesterday and couldn’t get that thing to hook. There’s got to be a simple trick.

modify a screwdriver with an angle grinder to make a spring puller. It comes in handy occasionally.

I've had no issues with my 12" 8" tires on my TIAB towing for 5+ hours from Montreal or Maryland. I couldn't figure out what the recommended tire pressure should be, so I went with 80 PSI for towing under 500 lbs. Tires are rated for 100 max.

I just realized that a 12” wheel will require a diff hub as 4 bolt on an 8” wheel will be diff than 4 bolt on a 12” wheel.

Think I’ll stick with the 8”.

I just got this sweet all aluminum made in ontario 2019 "bearco" 5x8 trailer like in photo to haul the dirtbikes/atv/sportbikes / junk instead of pushing them up into my truck bed. Should be much easier now. was posted for 2800 and only managed to get down to $2700 so not a screaming deal but fair enough price as seller said he had lots of action on it in first hour of being posted. Should hold its value pretty well. was impressed to find entire underside had been welded and sealed to hide all wires and keep water out. It is crazy 15 year old cheap snowbear trailers that I once had paid 8 or 900 for brand new in 2005 are still selling for 800 all rusted on kijiji.

Also have a single rail princess auto trailer hitch mount that Ive used to haul single dirtbike on that works great but will be nice to bring the 2 stroke and 4 stroke dirt bikes to the motocross track on same day now to ride back to back.

Also have a 7x10 steel flat deck kangaroo trailer that have had no complaints with. Would highly recommend Dave and his trailers to anyone looking for a quality custom built trailer.

Depending on how often you're going to use it, you might consider renting one on the weekends you head up to the cottage.

U-Haul motorcycle trailers are $15/day
Plus probably another $20 on top of that for whatever reason they can think of when you return it. You can buy one in Kijiji for $300 (used) and use it for life.

Oops, I meant to type 8" in my post. You'll be fine with the 8".
I checked the tires and they state 50psi as the max in my case. Pumped them up a few days ago, and planning on strapping the bike onto the trailer tonight to see if it holds with the weight on. Of course my stupid pressure gauge failed when I need it.
