Small trailers?

My biggest issue is storing it when not needed (same as most).

The small stinger style are great because you can break them down to minimal size.

The utility ones are good because they’re not single purpose like the stinger type, but storage is a pain in the butt. My fence is currently too weak to support that weight like @oioioi showed in his photo.

Theres very little weight on fence. You can lift the trailer to that position by yourself. Attachment to fence just keeps the wind from blowing it over (similar windload to fence behind so shouldnt change anything).

You are not securing it to the fence for support or strength .
The straps are there to prevent it from accidently falling over. Especially with kids around .
I would have strapped it the same way to a wall in there garage. Where is no no wind.

Sounds like you have a lot of restrictions (price, storage) that renting would solve...

Just sayin'...

Here a thought:
How about a NEW 5x9 from either Miska or Kangaroo? With 15" tires, easy lube hubs, a fold down ramp, a spare tire, 4 or 6 extra D rings, and a tongue jack.
I'll split the cost with you.
You use it anytime.
I can keep it here no probs. (inside the garage in the winter).
It's all yours when I move to a "home", or condo, or I croak.

I don't think they're that much, are they?
I bought one from kangaroo about 10yrs ago. It was close to $1600.
Sadly, I sold it.
Kangaroo doesn’t have pricing that I found. Miska is $3,050 for the cheapest one I see.

even at 50/50 that’s way beyond my budget. But I really appreciate the offer.

harbour freight style folding for $450. 4 bolt rims so probably 1200 lb capacity
Interesting. A lot of similarities with HF but folds differently. HF's I have seen drop the whole A frame when folding. This one has a much shorter a-frame and it looks like the tongue drops.

May have been modified a little.

Still has the casters on the back so I would think the deck also folds in the middle. .

I have thought about modifying the tongue on mine to extend it and retrack it.

Either way. Still a decent deal

So 490 new (plus a piece of plywood) or 450 for the one that has been outside for 20 years?
490 usd plus whatever it takes these days to get it here. I wouldn't touch that one for $450 with the little 8" tires. The HTS/Freedom trailers are good option at the moment.

or the og hf one, but I think they stopped issuing coupons for them.
