Brand whore!

They are both mRNA vaccines and differ mainly in the formulation of preservatives used. All of that is absolutely fine except if you are French and speak French because they don’t like preservatives because they are catholic.

Other Authorized and Recommended COVID-19 Vaccines in the United States
You should get a COVID-19 vaccination as soon as possible. Do not wait for a specific brand. All currently authorized and recommended COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and CDC does not recommend one vaccine over another.

COVID-19 vaccines are not interchangeable. If you received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, you should get the same product for your second shot.

If you mix, I heard 50:1 is best.

My Neptune is 30/1.

I was able to get both doses of AstraZeneca.

The primary advantage of mixing is for getting as many vaccinated with the simplified distribution and for political gain.

As No credible trials on the benefits or consequences of mixing have been completed

I see lots of “hope” in the much of the studies publicized in the non medical media. “Opeds ”

Most conclude that the risks of mixing are less than the potential of getting the virus.

Would be interesting to see how many will want to have their 12 - 18 olds vaccinated.
