Shopping list for 2013 track season

The Annitori is a strain gauge switch, not mechanical. There are no moving parts.

I don't want to jerk around with the ECU... for $100-$150 more I can get a nice Annitori setup that doesn't reply on a mechanical switch
The 2006 R6 isn't as restricted as the 08+ so I won't try and talk you into removing the training wheels ;)

A few of my R1 customers use the Annitori, works really well (never seen one work stand alone).

Edit: Annitori is a stand-alone quickshifters. Bazazz has a stand-alone, as in you don't need the ZFi unit to make it work.

Annitori is a stand-alone as in... you don't need any other hardware to run it.

I might pick up another lid this weekend from Kahuna...

What are the rules on helmets?
I think they have to be at least Snell 2010 certified, correct?
Any other regulations?

snell 2010, correct

Mina, are you just doing trackdays or racing next year? Most td organizers still accepted snell 2005 rated helmets.

Not racing, just trackdays... hopefully a lot of them!
Where can I find out which organizers allow what?

Second question are you still riding street as well as track next yr?

Yes sir, don't think I can give up street riding... I enjoy it too much!
My GSX-R will be my street bike and maybe do an occasional track day with where the CBR is strictly track.

Always wise to have two lids. Twice this year I smashed up two helmets at the track, but was fit enough to ride the street the next day.

Replacing two shoei's in a year can be expensive. Replacing two bell helmets is easier on the wallet.

I hear that!
Kahuna is having a 50% off sale this Saturday, so I might pick up another Shoei X12!

For 2012 it seems as all td providers allowed snell 2005.

But to find out what they are planning to do for 2013 i would suggest contact whichever one you are planning on using.

2005 should be fine some of those are only 3 year old helmets

Mine is short:
Tire warmers(have a geni)
Sliders
Engine Case Guard
Pop up tent
Possibly figuring out a way to make my bottom fairing fit/getting a new one/or getting a slip on exhaust:D

Also, probably need to set up the suspension as the bike was set up for someone much smaller than me.

Ha, lets not foget a new wheel barring for my trailer;)

Race fairings? Slip-on wouldn't be enough... these things are designed/formed to fit over race exhaust without the fat CAT.... a cheaper solution would be to buy a Y-Pipe and get it welded or bolted on to the stock headers.

I bought an exhaust from MJS Performance. It's really the stock exhaust modified and welded as a race exhaust, eliminating all the CATs. It isn't super race performance but a cheap solution to a $1,000+ race system (I think around $300 for a 600cc). And they'll buy back your full stock exhaust for $80-something. They also sell the Y-pipe if you have someone good with cutting and welding.

But you'll need a power commander/bazazz if you don't already have it.

So maybe fairing modification would be cheaper :p

My list has totally changed since my last post. I decided to put $0 into my SV this winter. I just bought a dirt bike! haha...

- New graphics kit
- New grips
- Hand guards
- New chain and sprockets
- Maybe a better skid plate
