Dang, I SOOOO need one of those :(

Does your TIAB have the full chock or the ****** metal loop thing?
The standard metal loop thing :) have you had any challenges with it?

Have you actually towed one of those?

I've seen one, and while it might be okay for short hops at low speed on smooth roads, I don't think I'd want to tow major distances with it.

Main problem is that there is no suspension whatsoever. Hit a bump at highway speed and bike and trailer will be flying and bouncing around back there. A related issue is that while the various clips and pins make it easy to put together and disassemble, it makes for a real rattle-trap. Pins that rattle around eventually wallow out the holes that they go through.

OK for temporary or emergency use. Wouldn't want to do long trips with it. Wouldn't want to drive through Michigan with it (horrible potholed roads).

You've probably seen my trailer (which has proper coil springs and hydraulic shocks). Between all the racetrack trips and Deals Gap trips, that trailer probably has around 150,000 km on it ...

I agree with you, this one is for Mosport since it is only 30 min away from me. Also a backup for Grand Bend if my regular option for transportation is not available

The way is supposed to work is that the trailer and the bike become one strong unit once its tied together and doesn't rattle, but I haven't picked it up yet

I didn't want to occupy my garage or parking spots with a big trailer.

We will see how it works out.

its tough to load the bike solo...that's all. Not impossible...but i'd imagine the wheel chock makes it much easier as you lock it in and you're free to strap down with both hands.

Was thinking of getting the chock upgrade this year, but the chock front end is rather steep...$399 ish.

this is beyond my DIY skill, any referals to people who can fabricate the mod?
Umm AC a member in here has a shop, but I am not sure if he does this kind of job. he is in away until next week

JohhnyP636 I believe can also probably do this for you but you need to ask him (he hangs on the stunt forum)

The harbour freight chock holds the bike fine while strapping down. Safe and sturdy.

Good. I had a PA one similar and the bike wasn't sturdy.

the TIAB front end is very narrow, there's not much of a platform to bolt anything onto...

For everyone saying to take riding lessons instead of upgrading the bike...
Here's a neat video.

Lessons or upgrades. You decide... have to say he's a skilled rider for sure.

Time for me to invest in lessons...
