Shopping list for 2013 track season

You need a new engine for your GS500F? Wow, that sucks... and it's quite surprising. I thought those were on Suzuki's list of bulletproof mills.

$$$$$$ , it adds up quickly!!!!......wayyyy cheaper to buy one that already has the necessary "goodies" on there already
Ahh yes, somewhat already worked it. I was able to get a clean title bike for a great price.

I also have another zx6r that I will be swapping parts out from. (monoblock callipers, exhaust, PCIII)

Just thought It would be a neat project right now in my life.
I also bought a clean title so I can insure the bike against fire and theft.

I was thinking of starting a blog to show progress throughout out the build.

NIIICE!

I had a similar purchase, not as good as yours, and as you can see I didn't get to test it with my bike yet, haha
I am looking for a small trailer like that one, if anyone knows of one please let me know

okay, i'll bite

Why?
I was actually being sincere, it cost me a pretty penny to put my bike in full track mode but I don't regret it.
Putting it together is half the fun and there's nothing better than making it the way you want!

That has been my mentality all along :)

Hmmmm.... that's a stretch. I would choose a race-driven/proven motorcycle over my own any day. Not that there is anything wrong with mine, but more tuning and R&D was put into the other than than mine.

It's great mechanical experience if you're doing it all yourself, poor financial planning.

unless you had it insured and on the road and then switch to just fire and theft, you won't be getting any insurance for it.

And that can only be claimed if the fire and/or theft occured at your home, or parked in a designated parking area (which it will never be)..... not at the race track.

And the fire doesn't count if the motor was running 1-2 seconds before the gas tank ruptured on impact.
