Yeah now you make no sense.., he says you are riding like hooligans and others are confirming the nature of the ride which you seemed to be in denial about. What I was implying with my original post is you guys are riding way over the speed limit and doing what the cops would consider stunting. If anyone is doing it the whole pack will be nailed with the stunting or racing law. The style of the ride is fine but people should know the first sign of cops you are all ****ed. So posting that this is a ride about skill and comfort level is false, it's about accepting you might lose your license following the leader, I raced and have a win at mosport so I won't have any problems riding with you. What I will have an issue with is losing my license. So why not just come out and admit the ride is about going as fast as you can, screw the laws. At least people will come out knowing the real deal and not get nailed before they can decide to opt out half way thru.

Well it was my first ride out with the theassassin and I must say I had fun, I thought the ride was well ran, i appreciate the waiting at the stop signs. There where a few road rager's out there but that's not unusual. As I am sure it will get out about my almost kissing a tailgate that was no ones fault but my own, not sure why my brakes locked and stayed locked after I let off but in the end we all rode home. As for the wheelies well hey if you can and no one is going to get hurt I do not see the issue, I may not be pulling that rabbit out of my hat anytime soon but I can't begrudge anyone else a bit of fun. As for the speeds well if I wanted a sightseeing tour then I would cruise around with my mother and grandmother. All in all I had fun and look forward to the next one.

He's got a point there . Should be i guess ride your own ride with stop signs

Hopefully i'll join in one of your rides soon its good you still post them to many people on here can't take the hassle of the keyboard warriors and seem to ruin it for the people really looking for a spirited ride cause there's not to many of them out there left.

What I was implying with my original post is you guys are riding way over the speed limit and doing what the cops would consider stunting................................. I trimmed that a bit.....
You originally implied that 2 people crashed their bikes due to riding aggressively. You were wrong and I said so, "Bandit made a wide left turn at a light and rode along the curb and tipped over" and there was no 2nd crash.
It doesn't seem that the issue here is with "you losing your license" but rather more about the fact that you're speculating about rides you have no first hand experience with and you're repeating "hear-say" which is basically next to gossiping. Even with positive comments about the fun that riders had when they ACTUALLY rode with me, you are still judging the whole group that is more than happy with the way they ride on my rides! hahahahaha! No rider complaints about being pressured, a couple will admit to leaving rides for different reasons and I thank them for their honesty.
As for your win at Mosport, congrats! As for me having crew chiefed a Superbike Team at Daytona (96) and being the tuner for the present class champion in the SOAR PRO senior superbike class and being an ex-licensed Road Racer in the RACE series (95), having owned a motorcycle shop for years in Niagara (whose riders took several dirt and roadrace championsips) I think I have a bit of an idea about what going fast is all about! hahaha!......but going "as fast as I can" on the street is not what I am out there doing. If I had been doing that for almost 30 years, back in the 80's on my 900 ninjas, for 10 years in the 90's on punched out GSXR 1100's, during the 70 000 kms I put on my 99 R1 in 5 years and for the last 5 years putting on 70 000 kms on my poor poor GSXR 1000 I would surely have been DEAD by now, hahahahaha!
I obviously ride within my limits. If I didn't I wouldn't last long, I'm sure you'd agree. I ride at a pace that it seems is different from most others and that's where I get my kicks. Other riders ride at the pace where they get their kicks. I don't see a problem and THEY certainly don't either, judging by their comments. This is what I endorse "ride within your limits, leave if you're not comfortable, be at work on monday morning" it would be great if all rides had this mantra.
I've street ridden with a few champions and a number of national top 5 guys (still). They don't go 110%, they do have their moments though!...trust me, they're not exactly always "saints" hahahaha! I can hold my own at any pace on the street because it's not about going 100%, if it were about going 100% we'd all be dead long ago. The point is that they get their kicks and they ride within their limits........................just like the rest of us SEEM to be doing as we're all coming home in 1 piece and HAPPY! There's a time and place for everything, if you use good judgement you'll be out here for a long time, not just a good time, having fun about 30 years later, like me. This is what I think bikes are about, not boredom and someone else saying I should do this or this. For me motorcycling is about everything that's opposite to that. Like I said before, if it were up to me, some bikes wouldn't exist because I don't see any merrit in them, no reason to own one and I know not everyone agreess with that.........so everyone does as they like.
So if there's something wrong with that keep trying to get your point across, because thus far you're saying a few different things that still sound like you're judging us without listening to what other riders from my rides are saying. Your speculations are similar to gossip because there have been no crash fests or cop fests. My point is that everyone is expected to ride within their limits and have fun and that seems to be working, even for me. Let me know if you are going to make a point about something thats going to help our rides, especially if it's contrary to what the past participants feel as I am sure they'd like to have it explained to them too. Be sure not to mis-quoting yourself because it complicates the original point you made.

"Bandit made a wide left turn at a light and rode along the curb and tipped over"

let me chime in on this Sorry assassin but the facts are that I turned my head to look behind me and inadvertently turned the handlebars slightly to the right when I looked ahead I was against the curb my spool slider caught the curb and I just tipped the bike on its side no damage what so ever as we had just made a turn going into a small town with traffic and was travelling at about 15-20 km stupid move but hey lesson learned,so much for the" BIG CRASH"

I already told you i will come out for a ride, then i can comment first hand if that makes the difference.
