The Androids that are coming out by year's end will be beasts. Apple no longer holds an advantage hardware or software wise imo.

Well if he was dead set on Android...the Samsung Galaxy S2 is far and away the best Android phone on the market....but what happens when the Nexus Prime comes out with IceCream and the Galaxy S2 is still stuck on the previous version. If I were the OP and I could wait...I'd see what Google and Motorola can come up with.

Wait for the bb colt! If you don't care about the camera, the 9900's fine (it has no auto-focus). If it weren't for the crappy camera, I'd already have the 9900. If you can hang tight, the colt comes out first quarter next year. That's only a couple more months!

Agreed, its just that with Android, your at the mercy of the phone carriers for whenever they choose to push out the software updates. So its not like when Google puts out IceCream you can just hook the thing up to your computer and update it.

If this colt turns out to be a flop...I'm jumping ship. I love you, bb...but you keep making stupid mistakes . I still can't figure out why the hell they figured taking auto-focus out of the camera would be a good idea. They claim that it was done to reduce weight/slim the phone down, but there are thinner phones out there that still have that feature...

& for god's sake, fix bbm again. Get your **** together, RIM!
