The only thing that surprises me is the part where it says Apple was the richest company in the world, I knew it was, but didn't know it dropped out of first place. Anything I can find doesn't show Apple in the top ten. http://exploredia.com/10-richest-companies-in-the-world-2011/

lmao did you read all the responses to the first link. The guy is obvious an apple fan, I could also post an article saying the same thing about the N8, some scientific research eh. You make bold the apple features but are ignoring all the features N8 has that apple users can only dream of lamo. Apple apps such as fart apps and **** are really serious, apple has more useless apps on the app store then good ones. How about apple actually putting useful apps there. You really are gullible eh. Not sure if it's true they released it to a third party, some how I doubt it, but if so that would be a good thing, from what I have read the Symbian community wants it released to them, that way they can make it even better then ever. Think about it, if you have someone developing an OS and there only interest is the OS it will be concentrated on and be developed to it's max potential. Remember I said it here, Apple is on the same road Rim is on, that's a guarantee.

lmao, are we 9 yrs old, playing in the playground. How am I suppose to give a date for it. It's obvious they have already started on the road to Rim by sitting back and letting the rest of the phone world pass them by in technology. The link sunny posted seems to agree with me. The problem is this, all the fanboys walk through the apple orchard looking at the unripe apples, then look across at the competitions orchard, and say "why are their apples so much better looking then ours" and Jobs says don't worry look over there at our new orchard, as soon as it's finished our apples will look like theirs, but the fanboy doesn't realize by that time the competitions orchard will be even more improved. Eventually they will realize that all apple is feeding them are crab apples , and they will want the golden apple from the competitor.

lmfao chickening out. This is 9 yr old stuff. You have zero credibility since you realized you were losing the argument, and resorted to calling me names. iphone 5 may be their turning point to Rim. I am sure the faithful will jump at it, but will eventually realize it has nothing major to it, no wow factor, that is when the slide will start, they will start looking at other phones. Remember Rim didn't just suddenly go down hill, it took a while before people realized they weren't producing equivalent phones to other manufacturers. Now go debate something you know about, since technology isn't your strong subject. What names are you going to call me now lmfao:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Secondly the IPhone since it's inception has NEVER had the most features. Nokias, Samsungs, Etc have ALWAYS had more features than the iPhone since 2007. Yet the iPhone has destroyed companies like Nokia....so this is all going to magically turn around with the iPhone5? The N8 is a joke phone with 3 year old processor that's slow as molasses, a screen that looks like it's of a CRT monitor and a 12 megapixel camera that takes worse pics than the iPhones lower spec camera. I see you continue to ignore these facts.

I've had my S2 for almost a month now, it's my first smart phone and I love it. I've ended up using it quite a bit at work, I can scan and send a document faster with my phone than I can with our $80,000 printer/scanner. I only have two concerns with it, 1. I barely get a full day out of a battery and 2. I can pair it with my scala Rider but I can't get the audio to work.

LoL yeah I hear you about the battery life. I made bell throw in a free car charger when I was getting the phone, so its annoying right now but manageable. I heard that there is a new update out that deals with the battery life issue, I just cant DL it right now because of Bell being a little slower on the uptake, but apparently its available now in the US. But functionality wise, yeah I agree with you how useful this phone is turning out to be.

And again you prove you know zero about this, you see a few pics on the internet and the camera is ****, and read a biased article and think it's real. You my friend are a waste of my time, and talent to argue with. I will suggest you actually fine someone with a N8 and really check out the camera, stop believing everything on the interweb is true. and actually do some real comparing. Now go back to your knitting. I am tired of wasting valuable time on you. I hope you know more about motorcycles then you do about technology, but some how I have my doubts about that to.

oilycreek you keep putting him down yet you're making baseless arguments against the iPhone5 which isn't out yet and nobody even knows what it looks like, let alone what's under the hood.

Moreno is right, the iPhone has consistently made an absolute killing in the market. iOS is the big part to thank for that, but so is the stellar design of the phones themselves and their features. Ultimately all the phones pretty much do the same things, but iOS from the get-go is much smoother and quicker to use. It's also simpler and far more responsive to touch. It also touts the best battery life, the best customer satisfaction and grabs (by far) the biggest market share of any single device.

Apple the next RIM? :lol: good luck.

And I am thinking about one of these. Futureshop has it for $44 right now with a 3 year contract. Bell and Rogers have a cancellation fee of $20/mo to a max of $400.

So for $444 I can get a brand new galaxy S2... is there any fault with that plan at the moment?

My iphone broke too and I am also looking to get an earlier upgrade.... eventhough I'm only one year into my contract, they are not charging me any fees.....just call your provider...why pay $400+ for any phone. I'm with Bell btw

Also I think you guys should start a new thread about why the new iphone 5 is worth trading your kids for, it gives BJ's and brings you breakfast in bed. Who gives a crap about the iphone 4 or 5. The OP asked for a review on a samsung galaxy S2, and since I'm interested in that phone also I started reading only to find out how anyone who doesn't like apple products is high on drugs and idiots that know nothing about technology and phones.

bro they are sheep. And I have had an iphone since the very first one and bought every single one. Anyone who says the iphone 4 is a better phone than the galaxy S2 is just being a fan boy. It's a good phone, but hardware wise it's definately inferior. So hardware aside OS preference is typically a subjective thing. I like iOS I am used to it and it's very intuitive. The Android OS isn't really that bad either and can be organized quite similarly. An inability to recognize another quality product is what I call being a fanboy. I love the iphones, but if I see something better I will have no reservations of about getting that instead. You don't have to defend your choice of either one online. That fact that it irks you for other people to not like your phone is really a sad thing.

Who the hell said the iPhone4 was better than the Galaxy S2?? Go read every post, quote the post where someone said the iPhone4 is better than the GS2. The GS2 came out a month or two ago...so of course its going to be better(hardware wise) than a phone that came out more than a year ago. Thats just how technology works. The whole "Apple consumers are sheep" is what Apple haters tell themselves at night to help them sleep. They know its the only real argument they have, when all the facts are laid out.
