Running from police.

years ago, it'd just be one car pulling over a bike. Why? cuz that's all it's supposed to take...IE you're smart enough to see cherries and understand what it means. You've likely broken a law and it's time to man up.

Now often they call in a second car to block you in and ensure you don't/can't run. Why? cuz of ppl taking off when the cop gets out, has made them rethink stopping procedures.

It'll only get worse as things escalate due to a lack of respect for law enforcement. I'm not saying respect them all, but respect what they're trying to do, which is keep (in bike cases) ppl alive and well.

Get in the ring to box, guess what? You gotta man up and take a punch sometimes.

Running says much about a person.
Drug dealers and murderers get treated better than your average joe charged with a 172 infraction. If your doing 160 kph down yonge street then yes go to jail stupid. However if your out on a back road doing wheelies or stoppies wtf who cares if you crack your melon its your prob. But raping otherwise innocent riders and treating them like facking terrorists is outrageous. What ever happened to slow down there young fella shiney side and slow er down aka a decent cop. Now they are all look at me Im a cowboy and Im gonna burn this rider on a cross.

Exactly my point, brother! (but I do somewhat agree about over the top treatment for traffic violations sometimes)

It gets worse because the cops have to deal with the crap that escalates everytime..

one car stop becomes a two car stop becomes a three car stop and then guns drawn down the line.

If ppl simply stopped when they're supposed to, odds are more ppl would get a break overall.

Oops, did I say "odds"? Dammit!

I dont want to see anyone get hurt and I know the cops have a tough job to do. However most guys run because the punishment never fits the crime when it comes to riders. Not since 2003

who in their right mind would run after stopping??

here's the procedure.. cops lights on, make decision, pin the throttle, never see the cop again.... just in case your still confused on how to do it :)

Roger that. And if you see a fork in the road take it and stab him in the eye.

So you're saying P = 1 - (0.9)^10 = 65.1% care to explain how you got this formula
Are you guys serious?? lol. I am gonna have t agree with Daytona on this one, you guys need to get back on topic.

I think the probabilities are directly related to how good the rider is

if R (rider) = me then chances are ++++, if a bad R tries to run then chances are = ******...pretty much the only logic that applies :D

However, i was forbidden and asked to promise not to run anymore so in any case Chris described I am ****ed out of luck

Seen dudes do the stop. Cop gets out, buys some time....

Heres the thing for me If I am out cruising I ride within the law However when I decide to twist the throttle I am ready to elude whatever law enforcement comes my way. At the speeds I am travelling the cop would have to be running an average of 160 to even be in my rear view

Most cops I pass dont even try to catch me.

time??? LOL! if you got a bike that will do at least 250Km with the flick of the wrist you make your own time :)

and that's the way to do it right :) life begins at 200K :)

I hope no one here who got caught running will use this formula cause they are in for a big surprise!:laughing8:

It's like anything else, the more you practice the better you get! :)

Seriously though, you don't get it. I mean I don't even get it but even I can see that you don't get it!

The same would apply to getting away then! The more get away experience the lower the chances of getting caught in the future.
That was the joke, yes. Or at least the attempt at a joke.

You don't get it? Then stfu!
I get it more than you therefore I am attempting to help LOL!
