As a side note the title of this thread is silly...the Rogers family are fantastic people ...Ted was super enjoyable to talk to and travel with as well. A real great human being who made you feel comfortable always. Edward his son and his wife are some of my favourite people also. And I am harsh and hate pretty much everyone usually
They are a product not a service. You are paying for a service that does not exist. Their fault, not yours, therefore their bill to cover not yours.

Robbers today is not the Rogers of yesteryear unfortunately. They deserve the hate they get now and are right at home in the Robellus acronym.
 
They are a product not a service. You are paying for a service that does not exist. Their fault, not yours, therefore their bill to cover not yours.
Doesn’t matter. It’s petty to demand refunds whenever a service doesn't work for a short period. If it happened all the time that would be different.
The same people who demand refunds are the ones who refuse to pay when they don’t show up for , hair, massage , nails , dentist or other appointments where the person is paid only if someone books them

I'm not demanding a refund, I'm expecting a company that fell flat on their face to step up, acknowledge responsibility and attempt to compensate the people that trusted them.

A few hours outage I think most people could grumble about and move on, but we're approaching 24 hours now - a good drubbing is well deserved - clearly their disaster recovery plan was lacking.
