I could be wrong, but I don’t think you can pair that model with anyone on a group ride. It only has short-range intercom (ie. rider/passenger).
It’s for solo riding, or if you buy the 2-pack rider & passenger.

I'll keep watching it and make the call on Sunday if we should move it to Monday - which I know won't work for some of you, so fingers crossed it continues to evolve and we have a magical Tuesday
It sounds like a really great ride. Be careful on the 504, I was on it a few weeks ago and there was lots of sand in some of the corners. Might be clean by now, not sure. Also the part of 504 near hwy 620 is closed, there is a detour but it's gravel.
@shanekingsley Is your route taking you on Monck Rd between Bancroft and Cardiff? Late last year I had that in my route when I tried copying yours, and it was all dirt/gravel. No problem on my SXV, but my friend just got his brand new MT-09 SP and was taking it pretty slow to avoid stone chips. There were a few other roads that ended up being gravel as well, but I may have not followed your route exactly. If I can remember them, I'll post in case you want to modify.
Also, I wanted to check before posting as my memory isn't the best, but yes, 504 was under construction at the time, practically the whole way. If it's supposed to be finished by this fall, hopefully it's not as bad:
Was up there today. pretty much top half of hwy 46 is hard pack and gravel. Highway 504 is the same from hwy 46 to highway 620 (Bridge still out) I didn't go down hwy 504 from hwy 46 but looks like is hard pack and gravel too. btw. lost cell reception around Griffith to Calabogie (hwy 65)...
Not sure If I can still make it -- caught up north for an extra day for a building inspector meeting -- depending on whether he gets here AM or PM will determine whether I can get back today (8 hour drive back to Toronto)
Last one - where Peterson Rd. turns into Hwy 10 going south to Harcourt was also gravel under construction most of the way. Again, hopefully it's completed or near completion.
By the way, I know you guys aren't stopping for any restaurants, but if you're ever in the Bancroft area again, Cafe BC came highly recommended by the locals, and the Schnitzel (which seems to be a theme whenever I'm in the area) was great.
Wow…this is an ambitious ride! I rode home to Cambridge yesterday from Barry’s Bay and that was enough for 1 day for me. Had Algonquin Park pretty much to myself early in the morning. Was a great ride after riding up the day before. Good luck guys!

Thanks - we aren't taking Monck Rd. It would be nice if it was properly paved, but I'm not really a fan of that one - it's super bumpy even in the area that is paved.
We are taking the 504, so will just deal with the short gravel detour. Last I recall, it wasn't very long and pretty easy.

Thanks! It will be interesting to see how far we can make it. The 2 previous years went well over 1000km so if we are efficient with our breaks and don't burn up in the heat, we can do it.
