Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm considering seeing it for the second time.
Watched Deadpool and Wolverine. What a convoluted mess............unless they were lampooning the Marvel Multiverse, in which case it was brilliant.
Lampooning is what the Deadpool character is all about. He constantly breaks the Fourth Wall and comments in a way that only an outside viewer int he real world could, for example.
It's the same Van Wilder/Blade/Green Lantern/Hitman's Bodyguard/etc./etc./etc. "inside joke" schtick Reynolds has always used. I'm talking about the anti-plot plot of the movie, not his acting or delivery.
I may have mentioned it before on here. I am not a movie guy.
However I recently watched Wardogs with Jonah Hill and Miles Teller.
Mainly because I watched a YB interview with the real life David Packouz whose movie character is based on.
The YB interview pretty much tells the whole true story (unscripted) of the relationship between David and Efraim and how the business dealing and contracts were handled etc.
Movie was good but because I already knew the plot, it wasn't as exciting. But than again, no many movies give me the feeling of "WOW, you gotta see that movie. "

Watched “How to Train Your Dragon” for the first time in many years.
I forgot how good it actually is. The animation is amazing. The story line even more so.;
How a “reject” bonds with an “physically impaired” creature and shows his entire clan the error of their ways of continuous prejudice against things they don’t understand.
If you’ve never seen it, please do. Watch it with the kids if you have any. The whole movie is amusing and fun, but carries a very serious undertone to it.

Hector is the obvious choice. Obviously.
Saw "Lee" yesterday on Plex.
Really enjoyed it. Twist at the end. Kate Winslet is very versatile.

Fantastic
I've read the books etc and this one really brings it home what that whole crew accomplished. That Antarctica Ocean voyage of 800 miles in a 22' row boat will top all....plus the trek through uncharted mountains.
We visited the Mawson Museum in Tasmania and saw how primitive the gear of the time was. Incredible to see not only photos but actual movies of the Shackelton expedition
The guy doing much of the narration also duplicated Mawson's solo survival trek as well as Shackletons voyage and mountain trek.
All nearly killed the Aussie doing the re-enactments.
Seeing how small that damn boat is ( they duplicated it for the docu ) you wonder how they ever made it.
It's one of the best docus I've seen.

Funny the kid (the character) in Atypical is obsessed with Shackleton, kinda made me curious about him, may have to watch this afterwards.
