Good article on iMax

Imax is changing the world of cinema — and what movies make it to the big screen in the first place

Canadian-founded company's exploding popularity could come to shape decision making in Hollywood

A large theatre screen is shown. It bears the word 'IMAX'

Imax, the Canadian-founded theatre company, is slowly taking over the cinema world. Experts say that will not only change the movie-going experience, but also what films those theatres run. (Imax)

Use to do a fair bit of work for IMAX. It was owned/run by a woman at the time.

Saturday Night. Felt a lot of it was based on embellished, drug fogged memories but the insanity surrounding the whole idea of a live network show by very some very off the wall people in their early 20s was entertaining. Amazing the show actually made it to air.

Went back and re-watched this:
Still a bit fun, it's very simple by today's standards, not a bad thing, they certainly had a different way of telling stories back then without having a ton of dialogue, the only way I can describe it, like instinctive story telling.

Somewhat slapstick...culture clashes...much fun..strange to see him as the bad guy in Faraway Downs

The crocodile from that original film died this past week.

Carry On is a pretty good film. Good attempt at a Die Hard alternative! Jason Bateman makes a good villain.

Big Red One is a fun Xmas romp with The Rock.

Watched Wolfs last night. Plays to the fanboys of Pitt and Clooney well enough. Not a masterpiece by any stretch but, with low expectations it fit the bill. Just had the potential to be so much better.

The premise was good. Go in thinking you're gonna see something Oceans xx-esque and you'll be ok.

Watched The Sticky last nite. Entertaining budget series. Nice to see Jamie Lee Curtis.

This is very good so far.
Insane pacing (y) Ebert gave it 3 stars a

Red One was pretty enjoyable. I'd watch it on future Christmasses.
