Champions.

Starring Woody Harrelson. He’s a college basketball coach that messed up his career and ends up coaching a team of mentally challenged players as part of his mandated community service.

Absolutely excellent.
Yes, it was quite good.

Hidden Strike - Terrible in a fun kind of way. Cool to see old school Jackie Chan/Hong Kong creative fight choreography. Rest of the movie is bad, so so so bad. CGI is so bad it looks like a 90's video game.

Recently watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3, pretty mediocre. All the chemistry from the first movie was gone, and replaced with yelling at each other. Also the movie couldn't decided if it wanted to be adult or child friendly.

I also must be getting old. It's like every movie they have to cram in every FX, monster, continuous long action scene it all becomes senseless.

Just caught the latest DC superhero movie on streaming. The Flash.
Was excited remembering all the cameos from the trailer and the flashpoint storyline from the comics.
What an utter garbage-dump. Worst script I've ever heard. Ezra Miller's character is completely unlikeable, the butt of every joke in the movie.
CGI was worse than a windows XP video game.
I only finished as I stopped paying attention and started working on another screen.
avoid at all cost to your sanity.

I *might* watch it, if it ever becomes available as standard content on a service that I already subscribe to. Amazon currently lists it for something like $24.95. That's a nope from me, just based on Miller being in it.

Over the weekend I watch the newest Transformers movie on Prime (Rise of the Beasts?). While no masterpiece it was a fun filled 2 hours.
Being included with the service made it even better.

Looking forward to this
I'm only interested out of curiosity. Part 1 wasn't very good. The part 2 trailer the way it was cut looks like it has a lot of action but I believe that is only becuase of editing and it will still be a slow ploddy pokey second half. Plus some talk of delaying it.

part 1 was excellent, imo.

I liked Lynch version tho the Kyle MacLachlan was too old, the rest of the cast was well chosen, Patrick Steward, even Sean Young from Blade Runner and Jose Ferrer, Linda Hunt, Sting, Max Von Sydow

Current one better including top notch casting and a much larger pallete. Dune was never primarily an action story....geo politiics and intrigue

I saw the Lynch version when it was first released, in a theatre. There were so many facepalm moments. Atomic hold hairspray that kept Kyle MacLachlan's hair in place after falling down a cliff side. "I WILL kill him!!!" "He is the kwisatz haderach!" Making The Baron be physically disgusting, and actually calling it out in the dialogue, instead of showing him to be just plain evil. I thought the series on SyFy did it much better. The current one does much better with the visuals and I don't find it to be plodding, given the length of the book that it's based upon.

84 cast and music was excellent. Geo politices is hardly something to get excited about, especially trying to sell this to the mass's, which is probably why they took liberties, and played up a proficey, but kept those themes in the background.
